I have been professionally working since 1999. I wanted to experience life differently. I moved back from Seattle to spend time with family and friends. Then Covid-19 happened. Looking back, the time spent in last 3 years was good..actually great.

Worked in Fin-tech arm of Amazon. It's a short stint. I realized I am not cut out for huge data processing with all-together new finance vocabulary. It made me realize where my strengths are.

I am part of Seller Support org. The goal of our team is automating contact resolution thereby reducing cost to support sellers.

• In 2016, I am involved in development of RacerX platform. This platform offers a workflow engine and a rules engine(prolog), that eases building applications that are prone to frequent updates due to ever changing business policies.
• In 2017, We developed chat bot application (RealTimeConversation). This is a new initiative to offer chat as a friendly user experience and an effective means of resolving user issues, thereby reducing associate costs.

• Designed and developed WYSWYG IDE for mobile application development using javascript and web technologies. https://www.temenos.com/products/quantum/visualizer/
• Provided technical leadership to team members during system design.

As a faculty, I have offered courses for undergraduate and graduate students in the Department of Computer Science

• Design and Analysis of Algorithms,
• Automata & Formal Languages,
• Computer Organization,

• Python Programming Language,
• Java Programming Language

Conducted some lecture-demo series for the students

• A workshop on internals of c/c++, jvm, compiler’s, executable(formats), debugger etc
• A workshop to understand inner workings of live process, stack frames, parameter passing, type system, malloc’ng etc
• A lecture-demo series on GIT
• A lecture series on Tex/LaTex and Lyx document preparation systems
• A lecture series on processing, a java based library for visual programming

• Tons of software programming
• This phase fine tuned my skills in various aspects of software application development and management
• Software development is more of an art than science
• I have first hand experience in handling all phases of project development: Analysis,
• Design, Development, Testing, Delivery and Maintenance
• A project is never a one man’s show
• It is a great co-operative act of all involved
• The skills involved to enthuse and inspire teammates is of prime value in any successful project
• Having worked with good number of people both professionals and students, made me realize the spirit behind working and being together at all times.
