- JioChat SDKs: - JioChat SDKs are integrated at numerous Jio Apps such as JioCare, JioHealth, JioGate, Radisys-engage, NGO etc. to facilitate text and media-based communications.
- UPI Integration: - To enable peer-to-peer money transfer through UPI from one user’s bank account to another user’s bank account. Registration, Device Binding, Creating VPA, Linking Bank A/c and finally setting UPI PIN, Money transfer, Request Money etc. under NPCI compliance guidelines.
- User Generated Content (UGC) Spool: - Spool is a short video UGC platform which will be part of JioChat app. This will be a public platform for all JioChat users without having to be mutual contacts. People will be able to create short videos and deck them up with effects and music and post on a video feed. All users will be able to view the feed. Viewers can like, follow, comment and share the contents on other platforms as well.
- JVC, JMS and JCL apps on Jio Feature phones: - Jio has launched KaiOS based low budget feature phones. HTLM based apps like Video calling, Messaging and Entertainment Channel apps are pre-embedded. Work in progress to bring up Conference Room among 5 users in it.
- JioChat Mini Apps and Widgets: - Mini Apps and Widgets are new message types that JioChat will start supporting. These can be used within P2P, group chats and in Channels. Example of Mini Apps can be Attendance widget, Poll widget, Reminder widget etc.
- Jio KBC Play-along TV Audience sitting at home can participate in famous Sony TV show KBC by JioChat Channel along with the hot seat contestant and Mr. Amitabh Bachchan. Participants will advance the rounds by answering correct answers and participants with all the correct answers will be eligible for the grand prize.
