• As Dy General Manager (Submarine Planning and Electrical), I handle three major diversified roles

- Contract handling, Planning and Execution of various Projects under the Submarine Division.

- Managing the entire Electrical Department and Production activities.

- BusinessDevelopment.

• As part of the first role, I am responsible for conduct of feasibility and cost benefit analysis, defining project scope and deliverables, estimate time, cost and resources, preparation of budgeting plans and techno-commercial offers for the customers, preparation of draft contract, defining stage payments, supplementary agreements, involve in contract conclusion processes, preparation of Project schedule (PERT), macro and micro level planning, risk identification, quality and resource planning etc.
• As DGM(Production Electrical), I am responsible for handling Electrical Production activities, procurement of resources for execution of electrical work packages, plan and execute production milestones, assign tasks to team members, communicate progress to stake holders and higher management, ensure smooth communication and workflow, ensure adherence of production activities with PERT towards timely completion of the Project. In addition, conduct regular periodic review meetings between Yard and all stakeholders of Indian Navy to resolve and iron out various teething issues/ bottlenecks affecting the Project timelines.
• As part of Business Development, I coordinate with various friendly Nations of interest for business development and enhancement, maintain liaison with service providers, identify opportunities, prepare and forward business proposals, techno-commercial offers, interact with Defense Attaches of different countries, higher officials at Ministry of Defense and Indian Navy towards conclusion of Memorandum of Understandings (MoU)/ contracts.

• Directed training of personnel as Chief Instructor (Electrical) at Submarine School, INS Satavahana, enhancing operational readiness for Sindhughosh, Shishumar, and Kalvari class submarines.
• Conducted training for officers and sailors on Kalvari Class Submarines, covering electrical systems, integrated platform management system (IPMS), and combat and weapon control systems to ensure effective system operation.

• Appointed as Cdr (P-75) L at Project 75 directorate of Naval Headquarters, New Delhi.
• Operationalised critical defect in Combat System of SM5 out of warranty, resulting in significant cost savings for exchequer. Received on-the-spot commendation from Vice Chief of Naval Staff (VCNS) for meticulous work in Nov 2022.
• Handled and resolved Electrical and Combat System issues by coordinating with multiple foreign OEMs including M/s Naval Group, M/s Thales, and M/s Safran, facilitating timely delivery and commissioning of submarines Karanj, Vela, and Vagir.
• Executed the contract as Contract Operating Authority (CoA) to facilitate the delivery of equipment to the ultimate consignee according to incoterms and contractual norms.
• Processed two capital procurement cases at NHQ for Electronic Chart Display Information System (ECDIS) and Portable Deep Water Noise Range (PDWNR), ensuring compliance with procurement standards.
• Oversaw key projects at Project 75 directorate of Naval Headquarters.

• Executed electrical work package during Medium Refit at Goa Shipyard Limited (GSL) as Electrical Officer onboard ICGS Sagar, coordinating with shipyard departments, CGRPS, OEMs, local vendors, and CGRHQ.
• Conducted regular safety audits onboard as Safety Officer, implemented strict electrical safety standards, and ensured compliance with safe electrical work practices as per existing guidelines and policies.
• ICGS Sagar is a frontline AOPV of Indian Coast Guard.

• Appointed as Instructor (Electrical) at INS Satavahana for conduct of Kalvari class submarine training.
• Training for newly inducted Kalvari class submarines is conducted with the help of state of the art technology known as 'MOODLE' Learning Management System (LMS).
• Has been instrumental in setting up of Kalvari Training wing and maiden Moodle based Learning Management System training LAN at INS Satavahana.
• Switched over from the conventional Training methodology to Computer based online Training.
• Successfully completed the maiden Kalvari Basic Submarine course KBC.
• Developed various training aids, table top models, computer based training packages, simulators, front fascia models such as IPMS and Steering console simulators, PGD trainer switch board, Built in Breathing system (BIBs) etc for efficient training in absence of the submarines in Visakhapatnam.
• Was awarded with FOC-in-C (South) commendation on the Navy Day, 04 Dec 2019 for the meticulous work undertaken at Satavahana and devotion to duty.

• Appointed as Trainer (Electrical) in Indian Training Team at Mumbai post successful abroad training on Scorpene submarines.
• Entrusted with the responsibility to set up and commission a new unit called as Indian Training Team at Mumbai, responsible for conduct of training of subsequent commissioning crews of Kalvari class submarines (SM3 onwards).
• Successfully completed commissioning crew training of SM3 (Karanj) leading to timely taking over of the submarine by Indian Navy.
• Actively involved in conduct of training of subsequent commissioning crews (SM4) at Mumbai and Kalvari Conversion Courses (KCC 1 and KCC 2) at INS Satavahana.

• SOT(Mbi) oversees the construction of six Scorpene class submarines at Mazgon Dock Shipbuilders Ltd (MDSL), Mumbai. The submarines were built under Project 75 contract in collaboration with French OEM, M/s Naval Group (formerly known as M/s DCNS).
• As Senior Trials Officer (Electrical), ensured timely installation of Electrical systems and Equipment, Assembly Inspections and QC, Harbour Acceptance Trials (HATs) and Sea Acceptance Trials (SATs) etc.
• Actively involved in completion of electrical work package towards timely delivery and maiden commissioning of Scorpene submarine, INS Kalvari.
• Selected in merit as part of Indian Training Team, Mumbai (ITT (Mbi)) and was deputed to France for undergoing training on various system/ equipment of Scorpene class submarines.
• Overseeing the construction of six Scorpene class submarines at Mazgon Dock Shipbuilders Ltd (MDSL), Mumbai.

• Played a key role in successful completion of the last operational cycle of the submarine prior commencement of MR, meeting all operational commitments and ensuring DI/DR in a time bound manner to obviate delays in meeting OPS requirement by ensuring timely audit of spares, completion of routines and undertaking repairs/ replacements of defective machinery.
• As Electrical Officer, was solely responsible for operational availability of machinery and day to day running/ smooth functioning of the Electrical Department.
• Selected in merit for a long specialised course on Exocet SM 39 missile at Naval Armament Depot (NAD), Karanja as part of Project 75.

• Actively met all the operational cycle commitments and ensured timely DI/DR of Power Generation Distribution, Propulsion and Weapon systems onboard.

• As Electrical Officer of INS Sindhukirti, post gainful repair/ refit experience at Naval Dockyard (Vzg), ensured timely completion of electrical work package during Medium Refit (MR) of the submarine.
• Ensured setting up of mechanism for an efficient project monitoring and progress of activities with the help of close liaison with all stakeholders vis a vis, HSL, MO(Vzg), WED (Vzg), ND (Vzg).

• As Assistant Manager, Electrical (AMELE), meticulously managed the entire submarine section (Electrical) at MELE, Naval Dockyard, Visakhapatnam.
• MELE is responsible for repair of Power Generation and Distribution equipment, Heavy duty Electric/ Propulsion Motors, Switch boards and breakers etc, ensuring timely completion of refits of Ships and Submarines.
• During the tenure, played a pivotal role in successful completion of refit work package of Normal Refit (NR) of INS Sindhudhvaj, Extended Short Refit (ESR) of INS Sindhuvir, Medium Refit Mid Life Upgradation (MRMLC) of INS Sindhukirti at Hindustan Shipyard Limited (HSL) and rectified multiple defects ensuring sea going efficiency of the Underwater vessel.
