- Being a Mechanical Maintenance In-charge of Sinter Plant in a PSU Steel Plant ensured the complete availability of the equipment for production with minimum down time.
- Associated in erection of critical mechanical equipment of Sinter machines & allied equipment viz..Conveyors, Crushers, Screens, Stackers, Blender Reclaimers, etc.. in the expansion of 7.3 MT.
- Played a major role in the Commissioning and Stabilization of the Following equipment ; CONVEYORS (Belt, Chain & Scrapper), SINTER MACHINE, SINTER COOLERS (Drum, Straight line, Circular), DOUBLE ROLL CRUSHERS( Coke), HAMMER CRUSHERS( Dolomite & Limestone), SCREENS( Single deck ,Double deck & Flip-Flow), SINGLE & TWIN BOOM STACKERS (supplied by M/S.FL SMITH), BLENDER RECLAIMERS (supplied by M/S.FL SMITH and M/S Mukund), EOT CRANES.
- Suggested & implemented major modifications in conveyor system, Blender Reclaimers, Crushers and Screens during the commissioning & stabilization to achieve the rated capacity at the stipulated time frame.
- Actively involved in Capital Repairs for the major equipment like Sinter machine & connected equipment and Yard equipment.
- Planned & Executed weekly shut downs by effective and intensive inspection of critical equipment to liquidate all the problems.
Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

- Worked as Mechanical Maintenance Incharge and carried out the maintenance of about 22 nos of TORPEDO LADLE (300 Tons capacity ,Rack & Pinion drive) and 30 nos of OPEN TOP LADLE( 140 Tons capacity ) for transportation of hot liquid metal from Blast Furnace department to Steel Melt Shop Department.
- Carried out key modifications in TORPEDO & OPEN TOP LADLES for smooth function of hot metal transport.
- Involved in complete planning, scheduling of CAPITAL REPAIRS of open yard EOT CRANES( 15T grab & hoist mechanism) for the smooth slag handling.
- Actively participated in the maintenance activities of critical EOT Cranes (120/50 T) used for handling TORPEDO & OPEN TOP LADLES and ensured continuous production.
