Role and Responsibility:

1. Engage supplier and follow-up on new development of new sustainability materials.

2. Support in development of rubber compounds with high sustainability index by including development and enhancement of recycle and new material

3. Contribution to capacity building in development projects, stakeholder and supplier engagement

4. Conduct the life cycle assessments of process and product to propose the changes in processing and materials usage leading to reduction in emission.

5. Support in sustainability reporting efforts: annual reports, and other sustainability disclosures, by facilitating engagement with internal and external stakeholder and managing data request and collection in a structured framework.

5. Collaborate as necessary across departments, including at a global level, to synchronize sustainability activities

• Ensuring material test reports (self and customer end) are in accordance with company procedures and customers requirements, analyzes all customer complaints, identifies the root cause and taking actions or bringing to management proposals for correction.
• To perform Market Intelligence, Competitor Intelligence, Market Research, Market Analysis, Product Intelligence, Strategy Planning & Development
• To perform Market Analysis & New Markets Appraisal projects using Primary and Secondary research (using Qualitative & Quantitative methods) for the ongoing projects
• Competitor Research - Understand competitor's behavior & draft competitor studies with relevant information • Effective stakeholder engagement across the business, building relationships with the key business contacts
• Designing questionnaire, analyzing the data collected, & coming up with the final outcome of the research conducted

• Carry out elastomer compounding activities and related product characterization and compile results.
• Independently evaluate rubber compound formulations after incorporation of reinforcing filler materials such as silica, carbon fibers and other inorganic / organic fillers into rubber matrix.
• Study the performance data that is essential in proving the effectiveness of reinforcing filler in a elastomer matrix.
• Hands-on knowledge on polymer/ elastomer compound recipes, design of rubber & other polymer processing & characterization.
• Indigenous activities for customer by conducting trials to develop of rubber compounds having understanding of key polymer/elastomer properties, process ability, Process safety & curing, Stress - Strain properties, Payne effect & Dynamic properties, Tear, Fatigue & Wear Characteristics, Thermal and Electrical properties of compounded etc.
