  • As part of the M.Sc degree, completed an internship program with Coelho Industries, to gain hands-on experience in understanding the process of the different types of meat and snack products being manufactured at the factory.
  • Responsibilities and duties assigned included conducting research on industry trends, market demand, and competitor products, as well as assisting in monitoring and maintaining the quality standards for raw materials and finished products.
  • Participated in quality control procedures, gaining insights into the rigorous standards required.
  • Gained knowledge on food safety, quality control, principles of HACCP, packaging and labeling
  • Contributed to a new product development initiative - Vegan Cocktail Sausages, and assisted in testing and evaluating new ingredients, formulations and processes.
