Description:

The Finance Reporting Infrastructure (FRI) serves as the single aggregation tool for firmwide finance results and facilitates straight through processing to our reporting tools. Products Live in FRI are Loans & Commitments, Deposits, Derivatives, Investment Securities. Live reports in FRI for above products are SEC. FRY-9C , FFIEC 009 , CCAR

Responsibilities:

· FRI SME for consumption use cases using Dremio / Databricks / Looker (Midas) / Tableau / Cognos pipelines.

· Requirement gathering from business users, analysis, design and development of various applications like Subledger. Securities Financing, Investment Securities, Derivatives under FRI followed by end-to-end testing.

· Have also been involved in AWS migration activities of legacy applications.

Project Name: Finance ODS (IBSL /BDM)

Technologies: Cognos 10.2.2, Informatica 9.6.1 , Core Java , Unix / Linux , Sybase IQ

Description:

Finance ODS application was formulated under IB Core Processing Finance space around 2009 with the objective to improve local and corporate regulatory reporting capabilities, for reconciliation and substantiation of processes, to overcome incorrect product accounting flows result in many adjustments and to rectify many product-centric accounting engines / sub ledgers with inconsistent processing / functionality.

Responsibilities:

• Requirement gathering from business users, analysis, design and development of Cognos suits (like FM Model and Report development) followed by end-to-end testing / Regression testing / Performance testing.
• Requirement gathering from business users, analysis, design and development of Informatica components (like mapping, session, workflow creation) followed by end-to-end testing / Regression testing.
• Design and Development of front end UI screens based on Java.
• Unix shelling scripting/ development for process improvements and Production issue fixing.
• Production support to maintain environment stability.

Description:

Merck & Co. is one of the largest pharmaceutical companies in the world. This project takes into account the accumulation of all newly available safety information produced during a defined reporting period, monitoring and processing of the acquired information and creation of customized reports. The two major tools used in this project (IBM Cognos and Oracle – Argus) helps in monitoring, evaluating and improving the safety of medicines.

Responsibilities:

• Design and solution: Finalizing the optimal design approaches with onsite team.
• Gathering Requirements from onsite and clarification of business requirements
• To customize cognos reports according to client requirement.
• Argus Case creation, UTC document creation/execution and creating system requirement documents.

Description:

The North American Sales Reporting (NASR) system allows U.S. General Motors corporate and field personnel to view and run reports as well as run adhoc queries of the data that is stored in the Vehicle Sales North America (VSNA) database.The Global Sales Reporting and Analysis system is a web-enabled application that supports corporate sales reporting for the GM Vehicle Sales, Service, and Marketing (VSSM) – Global Market & Industry Analysis Group.

Responsibilities:

• Involved in Migration of Cognos Reports from version 1.1 to 10 which includes the below activities.
• Installation and Configuration of Cognos 10 on Dev, Preproduction and Production servers
• Installation and Configuration of Webfocus Reporting server, Data Migrator server and Webfocus client on Dev, Preproduction and Production environments.
• Analysis of the Report Studio and Query Studio reports
• Analysis of the Maintain and Data Migrator code.
• Bug fixing and Unit testing as a part of developer role.
• Preparing Architectural, Installation and Configuration documents.
