  • Exercised technical control and monitoring of three Garrison Reserve Engineer Forces Workshops located in three different NE states which were involved in giving Maintenance support to the concern road construction entities( respective Task Forces)
  • Ensured more than 80 percent serviceability state of all road construction equipment throughout the year by closly monitoring repair and servicing activities, optimising allocation of repair and maintenance grants and ensuring effective and economic utilization of the same. This helped the respective Task Forces to complete their annual targets
  • Prepared annual firm task for overhaul of major equipment, monitored utilization of equipment and reallocation of equipment between the Task Force entities to ensure timely backloading for overhaul. Achieved 90% execution of bacloading of equipments for planned overhauls
  • Ensured downgradation , disposal , auction and redistribution of road construction equipment within a very tight schedule on disbandment of two Task Forces during the period
  • Responsible for planning, procurement, distribution, monitoring and disposal of resources

  • Responsible for recruitment, discipline, accounts, finances and overall general administration of the training Centre.
  • Supervised smooth conduct of four recruitment rallies during the tenure in which on an average 2000 candidates used to appear. Checking their documents, conducting physical ,medical and written examinations in given tight schedule and making final merit list with no scope any error was challenging as well as satisfying.
  • As Chief Instructor, was also responsible for planning, conduct and evaluation of military as well as technical training of recruits. During the tenure, aligned the syllabus based on Systems Approach to Training, laid down quantifiable Training , Enabling and Learning Objectives and revamped lesson plan based on Blooms Taxonomy, which resulted in 20 % increase in effectiveness of training as evaluated by training evaluation committee.
  • As Sector Commander , was responsible for organizing security for nominated zone and watch and ward duty of real estate of given Zone in the Cantonment.
  • Conducted various events to include Ex Serviceman Rallies, Recruitment Rallies, Pension Adalat and many other social events flawlessly with elan and finesse.
  • As Deputy Commandant I was also chairman of various committees like School management committee, Canteen Stores Department, Security Committee, Shopping Complex management Committee etc. Contributed to improve the operations of all these institutes.

  • As Dean of the faculty, was responsible for planning and conduct of Basic Aviation Courses, Diploma Courses and M.Tech (in collaboration with JNTU, Hyderabad).On an average 20 courses of strength of approximately 30 students in each course used to run concurrently at any given point of time. It was a challenge to conduct double the number of courses than the designed capacity, however with proactive approach, necessary coordination with other agencies and providing motivation and leadership to the subordinate staff , training was conducted in impeccable manner.
  • Restructured the various courses by aligning training based on Systems Approach to Training. Institutionalise system of objective and fair evaluation, leveraging the power of IT.
  • As Presiding Officer of Project Monitoring Group for construction of new building and various facilities for the faculty, monitored the quality and progress of the construction and collaborated with execution authority and ensured timely completion of project.
  • Utilised training grant in efficient and economic manner to develop training infrastructure which included upgradation of existing wind tunnel and establishment of new water tunnel
  • Established Advance Light Helicopter training facilities in the new faculty, for which I was awarded Chief of Army Staff Commendation Card in 2015
  • Mentored six Officers to complete their dissertation which lead to earn them M.Tech degree from JNTU

  • Responsible for policy formulation for Engineering support to Aviation assets of Indian Army to include helicopters and UAVs
  • Supervised and monitored Maintenance Evaluation trial(MET) of KAMOV Ka-226 T and EUROCOPTER FENNEC AS 550 C3 by a team of interservice officers , for checking suitability for induction in Indian Army. In addition, MET of many ground support equipments and Add on equipments were supervised during the tenure.
  • Collaborated with OEM(HAL), DGAQA, DRDO for expediting defect investigations and carrying out various modification on aviation equipment
  • Carried out Technical inspection of various aviation units to ensure Standard Operating Procedures are followed and necessary documentations are done so as to ensure flight safety
  • Role also involved issuing various Statutory/Technical Instructions and advisories on correct maintenance practices to be followed in aviation units.
  • Formulation of Request for Proposal and issue of Maintenance Evaluation Trial Directives
