  • Making a platform independent code which can be run across different Oracle versions – 8i,9i,10g,11g to support the various Metasolv versions – 5.2 & 6.2
  • Reduced the overall execution time of 18 hours to 6 minutes using innovative parallel processing concepts. The increased performance resulted in more device rename per day in MSS and was limited only due to renaming the devices in other systems which needed manual intervention.

  • As part of McLeod conversion project the customer and inventory data were migrated from legacy AS400 system to Metasolv 6.0 version
  • Develop PL/SQL scripts to validate the migrated data accuracy and remove redundant data in the circuit design lines.
  • Identify the migration gaps in the third party vendor scripts and provide solutions using Oracle PL/SQL scripts.
  • Assisting the third party vendors in correcting the migration script by identifying the root cause of the migration data issues in Metasolv.
  • Worked on simulating the Core Metasolv order validation for the migrated orders using automated PL/SQL scripts. The order fallouts were predicted at 99.9% accuracy and were provided to the business.
  • Implementing / executing the migration scripts for Go-Live in production using automated shell scripts.
