- Started off as a Mill-wright Assistant on 2nd shift which is the down shift to work on major repairs, gearbox changes, conveyer belt changes/repairs, motor swaps, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, plumbing, ect. Basically any repair necessary to keep the plant running.
- Also started up the plant at the end of the shift, and made sure everything was operating correctly.
- Moved onto 3rd shift which is a running shift. Our main job was to keep the plant running and Pm equipment that wasn't in use weekly.
- Became the lead for 3rd shift and assisted with training new employees, directing work depending on importance to the operation of the foundry, and skill sets of my coworkers including myself.
- Also worked worked 1st shift, same routine as 3rd.
- Diagnosed mechanical issues using advanced troubleshooting techniques and tools, enhancing repair efficiency.
- Collaborated with engineering team to implement process improvements, increasing operational reliability of equipment.
- Oversaw installation and alignment of new machinery, ensuring compliance with industry standards and specifications.
