Work with vendors on expanding the numbers of door access controls that we have in our service area
Partner with PSEP Lead to create a BERT (Building Emergency Response Team) to increase safety and efficiency in emergency situations
Represent PSEP during New Student Orientation, discussing departmental features that assist students
Create emergency evacuation plans, including maps of rooms and buildings on campus
Maintain inventory of emergency management equipment across campus to include AED units, call boxes, first aid kits, Motorola radios, and panic buttons
Created 'Be On the Lookout' (BOLO) Binders for distribution at all security posts

Patrol, both on foot and by vehicle, campus buildings and grounds to ensure safety and security of faculty, staff, students, and community members on campus
Enforce policies and procedures set forth by Ivy Tech Community College and local law enforcement agencies
Provide public safety services at events both on- and off-campus including commencement, events hosted in the C4 building, etc
De-escalate tense situations to resolve conflicts
