As a paraprofessional at Elkhart Christian Academy, I have supported students from kindergarten to twelfth grade with IEPs and 504s. We keep Christ at the center of everything we do here.

Opened our hearts and home, even if only temporarily. Worked with DCS, Josiah White's, etc. to meet the child's daily needs. We saw foster care as a ministry where we could love and serve in every way possible.

Mentored youth aged kids, providing guidance and support in personal development, but most importantly their relationship with Christ. Led discussions, lessons, Bible studies and fun activities alongside other youth leaders.

As a paraprofessional at Oregon-Davis Elementary School, I had varying roles within the job. I worked with kids who had IEPs and 504s ranging from kindergarten to sixth grade. The majority of my time there was spent as a classroom aide in kindergarten. I worked in small groups with kids on writing, reading, math, etc. My experience also included helping in physical education, art and the cafeteria.
