HIMS (Health Information Management Specialist)

The Bowen Center
10.2020 - 09.2022
  • I work in medical records as a HIMS (Health Information Management Specialist). I process client’s request for records, along with requests that come from outside facilities such as other doctor offices, lawyers' office, DCS (Department of Child Services) (Department of Child Services), probation, courts, SSA (Social Security Administration), and much more. I help answer questions from our new employees that get stuck on what exactly someone is requesting. I answer phones and help the client decide on what forms they need to fill out depending on what they are exactly needing from us.

Marathon Gas Station
01.2015 - 05.2021
  • I have worked at Marathon multiple times to help the manager due to being short staffed while working a full-time job also. I would train new employees how to be a cashier and how to close the store at night. How to count down a drawer for morning shift and the paperwork also. Along with showing them the nightly routine on what all needed to be cleaned, locked up when closing, or torn down.

HomePro Roofing Siding and Doors
05.2020 - 10.2020
  • My responsibility at HomePro was to call and confirm appointments for our sales representatives for the next day. We liked to have each representative to have three to four appointments a day. Once I had the appointments set for the sales reps what appointments were left that I could not confirm the appointment I would call and get them rescheduled for another day. Once I had the appointments all done and the ones that needed to be rescheduled, I would clean the office. I also answered phone calls, took messages, and scheduled appointments for customers who called in to schedule appointments from seeing our advertisement. If we got new employees, I would train them depending on what position they hired for.

Welcome Center Clerk

DHL (General Mills Warehouse)
07.2018 - 02.2020
  • My responsibility at DHL was to check-in and check-out our semi drivers that came to the facility. If drivers were loaded, I would have to look up what product they have on their trailer to know if they would be going to a door or if they would be dropping their trailer off in the yard. If the trailer was going to the door then I would need to go outside and break the seal on the trailer for the driver. When a trailer was leaving I would need to print bills to give to the driver and also seal them up before they left the property, but if they driver was taking out an empty I would go and check to make sure that the forklift operators didn’t leave any product on the trailer when they were unloading it and that it was truly an empty trailer. While working in the welcome center if we hired a new employee it was my job on night shift to train that employee how to do the job properly.

Short Line Leader

Rassini
08.2015 - 07.2018
  • My responsibility was to train new associates on how to do their job. How to inspect coils to see if they were warped or not, how to properly tag the coil, and how to pack them. I would also train them how to keep track of the part numbers that you ran for the night and how to fill out paperwork.

Matsu Weld
10.2014 - 08.2015
  • Train new employees to run the robotic cells, work inspection, and how to probe the steering brackets.

Therma Tru Doors
09.2012 - 01.2014
  • I trained new employees how to be a press operator. How to tell a bad door skin from a good one. Which defects are acceptable and which ones are not. How to remove the access material from the skin without damaging the door skin. I also trained them how to do their night paperwork and how to do safety check on.
