Design & Development of Retractor, Buckles & Airbag for various Customer Engineering team., Detailed study of existing, new Customer Specifications, Planning & coordination with Engineering, Testing & other cross functionality team, Technical meetings with customer & in-house engineering team, Prepare document like SC CC List, Understanding the product requirements & providing concepts for the same, Initial Concept Creation, 3D model & Drawing Creation in CATIA, Production Drawing Creation with GD &T, Making initial worst case study reports, Positioning of various components within the customer defined package, Designing of Jigs & Fixtures for Assembly, inspection, Sled test, Noise & vibration, Providing the Simulation dept with various design outputs & implementing the feasible solutions, Ordering prototype parts / Building of proto type modules, Track the history of development and modules supplied to customer, Supplier data validation & Release activity, Handling Project Life Cycle in PLM (PLM Tool & Windchill), Creation of Airbag (CAB/PAB/SAB/CeAB/ BIR) package study reports, Creation of drawings as per internal standards and follow up till release process, Creation of CAB layout for new projects and create package study report Onsite support for Retractor For Toyota Customer Engineer team at Autoliv, Japan, Worst Case Study for CS Angle Variation for R230 Retractor, Minimum and Max Gap b/w Ratchet and Steering Disc Study, Directing CAD personnel technically to ensure successful development of system and following Autoliv standard design procedures, Assembly & Disassembly studies to ensure no clash between surrounding parts, Design and development of fixtures for Assembly, Noise and Vibration, Inspection jigs, Develop test methods, engineering reports, prototype designs, test execution support for product development, Ensuring the design by correlating test results with CAE & requesting CAE simulations there by understanding the behavior of each component for the development activities, Preparing 2D & 3D as per internal standard procedures, Creating the parts, ECR & releasing the same in PLM system
