- Lead the fabrication department end to end: shell and dished-end forming, nozzle and jacket welding, internals, and agitator and drive assembly.
- Plan and control vessel assembly, including fit-up, alignment and dimensional checks per GA drawings, to meet quality and schedule.
- Managed inspection hold points with QC, including NDT, heat treatment, hydro test, and final inspection per QAP.
- Managed final delivery process to ensure timely dispatch of pressure vessels. against committed dates (DOD): pre-dispatch checks, painting, packing, documentation and dispatch coordination.
- Lead and develop shift engineers, supervisors, fitters and welders through manpower allocation, task priorities and skill training.

ESTIMATION & COSTING – PRESSURE VESSELS
- Study customer enquiries, specifications, datasheets and drawings to define scope, design code (ASME / ISO) and special requirements.
- Prepare bill of materials and material take-off for shells, dished ends, jackets, nozzles, flanges, agitators and supports, with weight calculations.
- Build cost sheets covering raw material, bought-out items, cutting, bending, welding, machining, NDT (PT, UT, RT), heat treatment, hydro test, painting, packing and transport.
- Estimate man-hours and shop loading from fabrication experience, and agree realistic delivery schedules with Planning.
