Month-End Close & Bank Reconciliations-

• Performed daily bank reconciliations to monitor cash movements and analyze variances between bank and GL.
• Performed month-end close activities by giving sign-off for bank accounts of eight Oracle entities after reconciling and finalizing Bank GL balances and submitting variance reconciliations for MIS reporting and follow-ups.

Risk Analytics Assessment and Reporting-

• Served as the sole global SPOC for risk analytics assessment and reporting for all Oracle bank and non-bank accounts.
• Developed and presented the Global Cash Balance Sheet Risk Analytics (BSRA) Report, a key report providing a comprehensive risk matrix of all Oracle bank and non-bank accounts, segmented by region and classified into three risk levels for top management’s review and risk mitigation.
• Each risk level was further categorized based on specific risk factors, aligned with Oracle’s risk scoring guidelines including awaiting bank statements, restricted cash, negative interest, High risk volatile currency analysis, MIS variance open items, dormant bank accounts, non-core bank accounts, excess bank charges etc.
• Reassessed and restructured Oracle’s risk scoring guidelines to align with evolving scenarios, establishing a standardized framework for the team to assess bank and non-bank accounts.
• Conducted monthly risk scoring for accounts of entities under my oversight, ensuring compliance with established risk assessment guidelines.

Forecast and Balance Analysis

• Developed cash flow forecasts to optimize liquidity, enable fund movements, and identifying trend for various expenses and incomes.
• Conducted and presented account balance analysis across two categories as the regional SPOC, supporting treasury functions:
  ➤ Dormant Bank Accounts: Assessed the rationale for keeping inactive accounts open and evaluated the opportunity cost of idle funds. Collaborated with treasury to determine whether funds should be reallocated for better utilization.
  ➤ Excess Funds: Identified accounts with disproportionately high balances relative to movement, analyzed the purpose of holding surplus funds, and worked with treasury to optimize utilization through investments or reallocations.

Other functions

• Served as the audit SPOC, coordinating and facilitating audit processes to ensure compliance and timely resolution of queries.
• Supported and contributed to automation initiatives, improving efficiency and streamlining team processes.
• Coordinated team efforts on internal projects and month-end reporting processes.
• Posted journal entries for currency reclass, foreign exchange gains/losses, bank charges, interbank fund transfers, bank interest and reversals.
• Collaborated with cross-functional teams to resolve open risky variance items, ensuring timely clearance and risk mitigation.

Handled end-to-end statutory audits for Private Limited Companies and Partnership Firms across software development, manufacturing, and trading sectors. Assisted in statutory and concurrent bank audits, reviewing housing loans, term loans, and NPA schedules for banks such as Canara Bank, Central Bank of India, and Transport Cooperative Bank. Managed tax compliance by preparing and filing Income Tax Returns, TDS Returns, Tax Audit Reports, and GST filings, including refund applications and registrations for corporations, partnership firms, and individuals. Additionally, prepared CMA reports and projected financial statements to support financing requirements.
