  • Prepares and review complex tax calculations, work papers, journal entries, and reconciliations required for accurate tax reporting. Performs trend, variance, and risk analysis and communicates issues or changes. Effectively utilizes internal systems and reporting tools for recurring and ad-hoc reporting and analysis to support business and tax requirements and decisions.
  • Prepares or reviews tax returns, payments, ECSL, Intrastat and other compliance related reporting or provides required information to external service providers.
  • Overview E-Invoicing Requirement, Co-ordinate with IC teams and CSR for any gaps, Calculate penalties.
  • Works with tax jurisdictions and/or service providers to resolve issues and improve the processes.
  • Monitors changes in laws and rates and stays technically current to support tax requirements. Performs legal research and clearly communicates.
  • Assists with tax audits and tax refund/credit reviews. Assists with the analysis of audit methods and sampling techniques, prepare documentation required, assists with evaluating possible or proposed adjustments, and identifies and recommends actions to resolve issues.
  • Engages with business and other functions regarding existing or new business activities and tax requirements. Provides tax guidance to influence decisions and involves broader indirect tax team or manager as needed to ensure timely and accurate tax compliance for entities under my ownership.
  • Execute processes and monitors effectiveness for SOX/Tax controls.
  • Prepare Monthly/Quarterly Variance report for analytical review and capture trends for reasonability, highlight any material variances.
  • Tax GLs reconciliations respond to ad-hoc queries related to tax matters on VAT Helpdesk.

  • Implementation of E-Invoicing System: Worked with tax technologies to implement Oracle query to report cross border transactions and domestic reverse charge transactions including testing, stabilization and sign-off.
  • Sabrix Cloud Implementation: Worked as Tax lead from tax compliance team from EMEA – Apac region for Selecting, Collection, Testing and approving various Scenarios, Reports, Macros and all the compliance related reports of entire EMEA Apac region.
  • Incorta Reporting: Worked with tax technology team as POC from Tax Compliance Team to upgrade AP Report from Sabrix Reporting System to Incorta Reporting, developing macros as per tax compliance requirements and actively participate in testing and providing sign off.
