Diageo is a British multinational alcoholic beverage company, headquartered in London. It is a major producer and distributor of spirits.

• I initially engaged with the Finance team to understand the business processes, organizational structure, and target system design (To-Be architecture).
• Later, I transitioned to the Data Team to support the end-to-end data migration lifecycle, including analysis, design, transformation, and validation.
• Analyzed functional and mapping requirements by collaborating closely with business stakeholders to develop high-level design documents for SNP migration tools.
• Authored detailed Functional Specifications, covering key areas such as active record identification, target data standards, reconciliation requirements, preload/post-load reports, and data export specifications.
• Coordinated data cleansing, harmonization, and enrichment activities in partnership with business users and data owners.
• Performed source-to-target data mapping across legacy systems (e.g., ECC) and target SAP S/4HANA systems.
• Partnered with functional consultants to define data quality rules, validation logic, and critical business transformation rules.
• Oversaw and managed deliverables from SNP and Syniti, the third-party data migration partners.
• Worked closely with SNP Validate teams to support extraction logic, transformation routines, and validation steps.
• Contributed to the specification of functional migration rules for master data objects, providing key input to the SNP Migration Cockpit.
• Designed and executed test scenarios for data mapping and business rules across multiple Test Migration (TM) cycles, tracked progress via Azure DevOps (ADO), raised and triaged defects, and coordinated with SNP to resolve data-related issues.

Client – Norfolk Southern Railway Corp. Greenfield Implementation Project.

NS is a Class I freight railroad in the United States. With headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia.

• Led the end-to-end implementation of the Accounts Payable (AP) module in SAP FI, including requirement gathering, configuration, testing, and deployment.
• Conducted business requirement workshops with stakeholders to understand AP processes and translate them into system design.
• Prepared and reviewed Blueprint documentation, functional specifications, and configuration guides for AP-related processes.
• Oversaw the configuration of key AP components, including vendor master data, payment terms, automatic payment program (APP), house banks, check printing, withholding tax, and payment mediums.
• Coordinated the Business Partner (BP) configuration specific to vendor management, including employee and intercompany vendors.
• Led data migration activities for AP master and transactional data using tools like LTMC or LSMW.
• Managed the integration of AP with MM and other modules, ensuring proper invoice receipt and payment posting.
• Directed testing phases – Unit Testing, Integration Testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) – and resolved test defects related to AP processes.

Roll Out Project.

• Successfully led the end-to-end rollout project lifecycle—from Top-Down Estimation (TDE) through Design, Build, Functional Unit Testing (FUT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), to Go-Live, and Hypercare support.
• Worked onsite at the client location (UK) during the UAT phase to provide hands-on support in executing test scripts using HPQC, and delivered user training to address system usage gaps and process understanding.
• Responsible for analyzing and resolving UAT defects, identifying design flaws, and ensuring prompt bug fixes.
• Collaborated with cross-functional workstream leads to manage and close defects efficiently, ensuring minimal impact on timelines.
• Involved in requirement gathering, effort estimation, resource planning, and project design documentation, aligned with business needs and compliance standards.
• Managed transport movements across environments, and ensured proper coordination during cutover activities.

Upgrade and Support

Agilent is one of the leading manufacturers of measurement instruments for life sciences, medical diagnostics, and chemistry applications in the U.S.

• Worked onsite at the client location (USA) during the AS-IS study and Blueprinting phase, responsible for documenting current business processes (AS-IS documentation), conducting GAP analysis, and preparing the Blueprint document.
• Designed and developed the Test Strategy and Test Management Plan for the entire SAP FICO module, ensuring comprehensive coverage of all test phases.
• Authored Impact Analysis documents identifying changes in existing functionalities and processes affected by the upgrade, along with documentation of newly introduced functionalities.
• Led Unit Testing, Integration Testing, and Mock Testing cycles for FICO processes, ensuring system stability and business alignment.
• Coordinated extensively with leads from boundary systems including Oracle, Taxware, Ariba, and Cybersource to execute end-to-end interface testing, ensuring seamless data flow and integration.
• Played a key role in Hypercare support post-Go-Live, responsible for resolving user-raised defects and tickets in HPALM (Application Lifecycle Management).

Support and Enhancement.

ACCO Brands Corporation is a manufacturer of office products in the U.S.

• Analyzed existing business processes, gathered enhancement requirements, and mapped business processes to standard SAP FICO functionalities.
• Provided daily functional support for Finance and Controlling (FI/CO) modules, ensuring the resolution of critical user issues across AP and AR.
• Handled vendor master data and customer master data creation, including configuration of number ranges, account groups, and special G/L transactions.
• Managed Accounts Payable (AP) processes, including: Configuration and issue resolution in the Automatic Payment Program (APP), troubleshooting payment proposal issues, check printing failures, and printer/check lot-related errors, and monitoring jobs and reprocessing IDocs related to AP transactions.
• Supported period-end and year-end closing activities, including foreign currency valuation/revaluation, and financial adjustments.

Upgrade Project

TiVo, Inc. It is an American corporation whose primary product is the marketing and subscription services for its TiVo-branded digital video recorder.

• Prepared comprehensive AS-IS documentation, conducted GAP analysis, and developed the Blueprint document, aligning business processes with SAP best practices.
• I designed the test strategy and managed the test plan for the complete SAP FICO module.
• Reviewed and validated existing test scripts, identified gaps, modified scripts as needed, and developed new test scripts to ensure full test coverage.
• Executed over 200 test cases across Sandbox, Development, and Quality environments, post Unicode Conversion, ensuring system integrity and functionality.
• Conducted Unit Testing, Regression Testing, and Integration Testing for end-to-end FICO processes.
• Actively supported the Hypercare phase, resolving post-Go-Live issues, and ensuring a stable transition to business-as-usual operations.

Support and Enhancement Project.

John Deere is an American corporation that manufactures agricultural, construction, and forestry machinery, diesel engines, drive trains used in heavy equipment, and lawn care equipment.

• Gathered client requirements and translated them into detailed Functional Specifications for custom developments and enhancements.
• Involved across all key project phases, from Business Blueprint (BBP) sign-off, Realization, Testing (Unit, Integration, UAT), and Data Migration, through to Go-Live and Post-Go-Live support.
• Configured core FI sub-modules: General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Global Parameters.
• Configured and tested Extended Withholding Tax in compliance with statutory and client-specific requirements.
