ROLES & RESPONSIBILITY
Preparation of Instrument Index using SPI & Excel by reviewing P&ID.
Preparation of Instrument Datasheet in SPI for all field instruments
Preparation of Instrument Hook-up diagram and Instrument Air supply Diagram.
Cable tray, conduit, cable routing for pressure transmitter, pressure switches, Temperature transmitter, TC/RTD, and Pressure Differential devices.
Preparation of instrument work drawing-Locating the instruments.
Taking extraction from 3D model to 2D model using Plant 3D.
P&ID review with process team & Piping Team. Updating necessary changes.
Instrument wiring from field to DCS, Creation of Panels, JB’s, Marshaling racks, and DCS panels in SPI.
Providing deliverables for Instrument wiring Drawing, Instrument Loop diagram, Hookup, etc.
Preparation of Layout drawing for an area.
Preparation of JB support drawing.
Preparation of the instrument Auxiliary cubicle.
Experience in Installation, testing, and commissioning of Field instruments in power plants/Process plants, and petrochemical industries.

PLANT ERECTION & COMMISSIONING
Involved in Erection Calibration, Loop Checking and commissioning of HART Compatible instruments including but not limited to: Pressure, Level, Flow and Temperature Transmitters, and Control Valves, ON/OFF Valves.
Handling of Rosemount and Emerson HART communicator.
Working experience in gas detectors & Flame Detectors (Drager, GM models, Honeywell).
Working experience in DCS such as Emerson Ovation, Yokogawa Centum.
As Built documentation: Control and Ferrule specification updating, Preparation of Handover Documents on I/O Database, Field cable schedule, plant grounding schedule, Equipment naming and location.
Design control and instrumentation cable tray route. Measure and install main home run cables.
Design process wiring and junction box.
Define and discuss the scope of the project using P&ID diagram with customer.
Locate and install instruments in the field.
Install junction box near groups of instruments. Laying cable junction box to control room.
Ensuring that equipment works to its specification & carrying out test procedures.
Conversant with preparation, Verification, Identification, and implementation Of the technical queries in loop diagrams, datasheets, instrument index, I/O Schedules, interconnection diagram, Marshaling cabinet & Junction box diagram, P&IDs, Hook-up diagrams for all DCS, FGS, and ESD systems.
