Worked in continuous running Air Separation Unit of 850 TPD to provide
continuous supply of Gaseous oxygen and nitrogen to IOCL naphtha
cracker plant.
• Operation and maintenance of HT (11KV) & LT switchgears, equipment
like 35MVA Power transformer, 2MVA & 400KVA distribution
transformer, 12000KW HV motors, LV motors, battery charger & 35KVA
UPS, 800KW regeneration heater, Starters -DOL, Start Delta, Variable
speed drives.
• Maintaining safety, reliability and efficiency of plant through
implementation of maintenance plan in adherence with AL guidelines.
• Prepare annual maintenance plan for Electrical equipment based on
historical performance, vendor manuals, AL group guidelines.
• Perform RCA for the technical & safety incidents and take corrective
actions to prevent recurrence.
• Prepare list of spare parts for procurement (based on SPM selection
matrix, OEM recommendation and VS study), ensure timely availability
of spares to perform PM and TAR maintenance.

• Raise and track purchase request; raise an alert to Maintenance In-
charge for any delay in the procurement process.

• Participate in quarterly maintenance audit conducted by CRT and close
audit non-conformities in definite time.

• Working as O & M Engineer of 400/220/33 KV Switchyard & Rectifier system having 24 no. of 140 MVA Recti formers, 5 no. of 750 MVA ICTs and 3 120 MVA Auxiliary transformers in Vedanta (1.75 MPTA capacity) smelter.
• Monthly and Daily planning and effecting preventive, breakdown as well as the routine maintenance schedules of various electrical equipment and instruments to increase up time and equipment reliability.
• Working on 340KA DC ABB Rectifier System & 400KV/220 KV, 750 MVA ICT operation & maintenance, trouble- shooting and testing of electrical machinery covering a wide range of equipment’s like Power transformers maintenance, EHV equipment testing and health checkup, EHV sub-station accessories maintenance, including maintenance and operation of control and metering panels.
• Maintenance of Area distribution sub-stations (33 KV/11 KV/6.6 / 0.415 KV) ranging from 1.25 to 120 MVA.
• Condition monitoring techniques like Thermal imaging, vibration analysis.
• Well acquainted with LOTO system for safe working practice.
• Planning, raising technical indents and tenders, follow up with purchase dept, development of reorder point for consumables, inspection & handling of materials & spares for optimized plant availability & downtime reduction using effectively SAP PM Module.
• Taking corrective/preventive actions on the defects/observations found during the maintenance.
• Plant warranty defect claims and resolution with contractor.
• Prepared full checklist for charging & maintenance checklist of various electrical panels, transformers, and Rectifier System and H.T distribution boards.
• Significantly contributed in preparing commissioning procedure and maintenance manuals, LOTO-V procedures.
• Significantly contributed in improvement projects as well as Kaizen, QC and LQC projects. Also contributed for improvement in 5s of working area.
