· Responsible for proper Flying and Ground training standardization, quality, safety and aircraft requirements.
· To ensure all flying and ground activities are planned, implemented, and monitored while adhering to the rules and regulations stipulated by the DGCA.
· To ensure the highest standards of discipline among the staff and student pilots at all time.
· To ensure that the standardization of both flying and ground instructors are carried out and maintained through monitoring and training.
· To ensure that all aspects of flight safety are planned, implemented, monitored and followed.
· To ensure that all related flying and ground documents, books, manuals, syllabus and records are available and maintained.
· To ensure that the standards meeting, disciplinary board and review boards are promptly and regularly carried out.
· To plan for the aircrafts requirement in fulfilling the flying training needs.
· To coordinate all aspects of training, aircraft requirement and safety with the following executives i.e. the CFI, CGI, Synthetic Instructor, Maintenance Manager, Safety Manger & Quality Manager.
· Liaison with external agencies i.e. DGCA, Airport Authority of India and Local authorities as required.
· To exercise privileges & functions of CFI & examiner after obtaining approval as an examiner from DGCA.
· To plan, implement and monitor the daily, weekly and monthly flying training activities in achieving the course’s plan target.
· To ensure that those activities are effectively, efficiently and safely implemented and monitored.
· To ensure that the flying training activities are implemented in accordance with approved syllabus/manuals and related documents.
· To ensure that all documents, records, reports and manuals which are related to flying training are available, properly maintained, monitored and processed accordingly.
· To manage and supervise all flying instructors in their duties and responsibilities in conducting the flying training
· To ensure the standardisation, skill and knowledge of all flying instructors are monitored and maintained.
· To manage, supervise and monitor all student pilots while undergoing the flying training.
· To manage, supervise and monitor the flight operations and its operations staff.
· To ensure that the highest possible discipline among the staff and student pilots is developed and maintained.
· To coordinate aircraft requirement with MM.
· To coordinate the flying training program with CGI, if needed.
· To liaise with DGCA
· To scrutinize and verify all flight crew Log Book.
· To exercise privileges & functions of CFI & examiner after obtaining approval as an examiner from DGCA
