It is a research and development project being developed by X (formerly Google X) with the mission of providing Internet access to rural and remote areas using balloons. Business unit uses Agile PLM and EPDM for their business. This project intends to use Enovia and Solid Works integration to replace Agile PLM system. So the project scope includes data migration from Agile PLM and EPDM to Enovia and Solid works respectively and minor configurations/customization's in Enovia. Team has total 10 members including 2 Solution architects from DS. The customer is based out of Mountain View CA USA. Project scope: CAD and PLM data migration from EPDM and Agile system 3D experience and Solidworks integration EBS integration including cloud configuration for file transfer IHS integration UI enhancements

Below are sub-project details that I was involved on: Stability project is a Enovia V62014x support and maintenance project that involves minor enhancements and bug fixes on monthly based releases DS PWC EV6 project is an Enovia updgrade project from V62013x to V62014x. The project deals with configuring and customizing enovia V6(2014x) to meet the requirements for Canada Aerospace Major, Involves Data Migration. Also involves few webservices development to define specific physical interaction that will need to occur between the system and an internal/external application in response to some business event. Webservices – A portal(Buyer Portal) is given option to enter Drawing name that needs to be searched in Enovia. A webservice does this job by responding with the meta data of Drawing details along with files attached to the Drawing. PLM Phase 2 post upgrade enhancements and data corrections.

All systems have different ways of handling engineering, sales, portfolio structures. The interim landscape is too complicated and fault prone. All systems have their own service agreements and license policies. Enovia Full Version project involves ramping down of existing PDM application (MxPDM) and implementing the same in Enovia.
• TE Connectivity, Tech Mahindra (Mahindra Satyam), Offshore: SDC, BANGALORE, 05/2011 - 05/2013, 16, 5, Java, J2EE, Oracle 11g, Enovia 2009x, Enovia 2012x, Windows XP, Windows 7, Tyco (TE Connectivity) uses the ENOVIA Engineering Central Value Chain Portfolio tool to manage their New Product Development Projects. They also use the Technia Value Components (TVC) in order to enhance the UI of the Enovia System. My work involves adding new Functionalities to the existing system based on various user requirements. It also involves maintenance of the existing application as well as any upgrades to the existing Engineering Central system. Changes to the existing system are managed through Major and Minor software releases.

If the user selects this as “yes” then a reference doc must be automatically created along with the Part and the user must checkout the attached form, fill it and upload to the reference document. There needs to be a check trigger to verify whether the file is checked in before promoting the Part to Review state. Changes to Drawing Print Report: Added new column in this report like, Related ECO, Originator, Change Description etc. Search Page Bug Fixing: Parts and Specifications were not getting displayed in the General Part & Specification Search functionality. In the Drawing Print Search page, versioned objects were getting displayed. This needs to be changed to show the major objects.

Under FMEA object, the user can define Failure Modes and for each Failure Mode the user can define Effect, Cause and Design Control. Based on the Severity, Occurrence and Detection levels the user can attain a RPN Value for each Failure Mode. There can be a responsible person assigned to each Failure ECO Check List: When the ECO gets released there needs to be a checklist created to make sure that the ECO gets implemented across the enterprise without fail. We have created a Checklist Template object for each product line. The Checklist Template object contains Checklist Tasks and assigned to different responsible persons who should complete those tasks in order to implement the ECO.
