Ø Calculate EZFW or payload & send to Flight Dispatch/Pilot-In-Command in a timely manner and in accordance to the Customer Airline requirement.
Ø Prepare the LIRF with the relevant coding scheme for dead loads, IMP codes for special loads, ULD numbers & Supplementary information regarding QRT/Standby cargo & special loads.
Ø Monitor the status of the flight constantly and highlight changes in Zero Fuel weights to the Flight Dispatch / PIC.
Ø Liaise with station of flight to ensure Load sheet reflects the actual loading.
Ø Problem Solving: Addressing unexpected challenges that may arise during the turnaround process, such as last-minute changes to the flight plan, weather disruptions, or equipment malfunctions. The coordinator needs to make quick decisions and adjust plans accordingly.
Ø Documentation: Keeping detailed records of all tasks performed during the turnaround process, including any maintenance actions, catering orders, cleaning procedures, and more. Accurate documentation is essential for record-keeping, regulatory compliance, and future reference.
Ø Delay Code Deciding: Analysing all factors that results in Delay of flight after checking with all departments involved
Ø Coordination and Communication: The coordinator serves as the central point of contact between different departments involved in the turnaround process, including ground handling, cabin crew, flight crew, maintenance, catering, and more. Effective communication and coordination are essential to ensure that all tasks are executed seamlessly and on time.
Ø Timely Turnaround: Responsible for ensuring that the aircraft is prepared for departure within a specific time frame, often referred to as the "turnaround time."
