Airport Business Development & Operations
Role Objective:
To drive expansion by opening new airport locations for the brand, ensuring smooth end-to-end operational execution — from onboarding to compliance and launch.
Key Responsibilities:
· Ensuring the proper implementation of all SOPs and Processes as defined by DGCA and BCAS and be one point of contact for the organization at the National Level.
· Obtaining permission from the Airport authorities and government authorities for starting till the store operation starts.
· Accomplished completion of more than 15 stores projects.
· Taking care of day-to-day operations of the store, setting work schedules, maintaining inventories, ensuring customer satisfaction, executing layout of store merchandise.
· Ensuring achievement of sales target by planning, distributing and monitoring target on a daily basis.
· Ensuring visual merchandising guidelines are adhered to and standards are maintained in the departments provide feedback to visual merchandiser.
· Tracking monthly performance (sell through inventory mix and level, retail presentation and target achievement) against plan and proactively identify solutions to close performance gaps, if any.
· Managing customer complaint and queries. Resolving them in the best possible way and also ensuring high level of customer service is maintained by one and all on the floor.
· Making shrinkage level under control by training team on how to handle the stock and protect stock from pilferage and getting soiled and damaged.
· Developing team members by providing timely and constructive feedback to help them to identify their weakness and strength. Providing adequate learning and development of team through on job training, product training etc.
· Consistently creating a welcoming environment for the customer by greeting and assisting; as well as quickly responding to customer inquiries and needs.
· Demonstrating desired behaviors for staff including driving sales, handling difficult and/or complicated sales, cash management, inventory, and follow-up with customers.
· Managing with acute presence and control in store, while ensuring that all customers receive good service and quality merchandise.
· Utilizing company tools to diagnose opportunities and developing action plans to improve performance.
· Forecasting business, focusing on productivity to meet sales goals.
· Identifying opportunities to drive traffic into the store through community events.
· Providing ongoing training opportunities to the team as needed
