To oversee all employees on the shift and to ensure a well - managed, high-performing, and safe environment
To use TQM tools and techniques to support innovation and creativity
To focus on customer satisfaction and loyalty
To ensure complete employee involvement
To continuously monitor each step of the process and the performance measures to detect any unwanted deviations
To ensure that all associated employees work toward the common goals of improving product quality, as well as improving the procedures that are in place for production
To ensure quality inspection, quality control, quality assurance, and TQM
To monitor and improve the overall equipment effectiveness
Responsible for safe start up, shutdown and emergency operation
To ensure the effective use of all PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)
To communicate with a supervisor from the previous shift and review production schedule, change over schedule and issues from the previous shift
To ensure all labor and production data is reported and entered correctly
To ensure all employees are performing duties correctly and safely
To administer performance reviews and coach all operators to improve individual performance, includes evaluations of new hire employees as they are being trained
To participate in scrap review process
To propose and implement improvements that will reduce product cost, increase output, increase machine uptime, decrease expense, and provide a better and safer work environment
To oversee and maintain cleanliness and organization
To select the machine or equipment and taking responsibility for its maintenance
To organize the repair of any damaged equipment
To ensure that the health and safety guidelines are followed at all times
To monitor the production processes and adjust schedule as needed
To check production output according to specifications
Helping to resolve employee issues and disputes
To enforce strict safety guidelines and company standards
To submit reports on performance and progress
