Engineer with 13 years of experience in providing IT infrastructure support services such as software license management, Software inventory management, change management, and Incidentmanagement, managing CAD/CAE tools. Responsible in the software procurement process and completely owning maintenance and deployment of the same. Playing key role in migration (server, win OS), understanding the risk associated with our tools and working to address/mitigate the same for smooth functioning. Understanding the license agreement and implementing the same. Testing and deployment of the purchased tool. Preparing the SJI and publishing the same. Optimizing the license usage by implementing options files based on different requirements. Keeping the software inventory up to date. As and when new release is out, working on the same and making it available as well as updating the license services to make it compatible with the newer versions. Capturing, qualifying, and helping in prioritizing new it demands and ensure it services provided to business are meeting service quality standards as per agreed SLA's. An effective communicator with the ability to coordinate with all associated sub-ordinates from different support towers to bring about effective and hassle-free trouble shooting/ correcting / upgrading within the stipulated SLA. Training the subordinates and new team members and preparing the knowledge base for records and reference. Working to integrate services horizontally across organizational units and managing interfaces between service delivery projects. Working with the it infra team to prepare all the required document for the audit and keep check on the compliances. Developed the process at utas to keep check on unwanted software on users' machine via feedback loop process. Engage with the incident response team and lead the process of documenting event details, creating incident response letters (either when requested or proactively based on severity), obtain proper approvals, and distribute final client facing document. Taking requirement of different Business units and then coordinating with all the listed vendors and getting the quotes/negotiations to get the best for my company. Based on the need, deciding the type of license to be purchased to optimize the cost. Work as part of the incident management team to ensure that the performance of the team achieves the defined performance targets and KPI's.
