Key Responsibilities (FPNA):

  • Handling the South East Asia region (SEA) which comprises of seven markets for the world’s largest client in the snack business. SEA is comprised of Indonesia, Philippines, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam and AMEA Exports.
  • Performing the Monthly Internal Business Process for Latest Estimations, Quarterly and Yearly (Annual Contract) activities along with Budgeting and Variance analysis for countries across South East region.
  • Performing the Innovation to Market (I2M) activities for all the markets in the SEA region for assessing the feasibility of new projects and creating new financial models in excel to see if they met the hurdle rate GM%.
  • Attending the top-level meetings for discussing the projects in I2M on a monthly basis and providing insights. In constant individual connect with the team (Marketing and regional Finance teams) in all the SEA region for performing the IBP, I2M and other ad-hoc activities as per the business requirement.
  • Month end analysis includes consolidation of the EVA adjustments received from all the seven markets, Product Cost Variance Analysis, Advertisement and Consumer Promotions (A&C) analysis (Accrual & Prepayment analysis).
  • Detailed financial analysis and dashboards on monthly, quarterly and yearly basis. To ensure accuracy of financials and support of any ad-hoc queries.
  • Yearly financial planning, quarterly forecasting of revenue and all cost line upload in the FIT tool.
  • Assist in the preparation of ad hoc reporting & performance analytics - GM bridge, Brand VRN, SEA Financials

Key Responsibilities (R2R):

  • Preparing and submitting the bank reconciliation for the respective RU’s on monthly basis and clearing the cash in transit open items in SAP.
  • Performing month end closing involving therein the passing of different type of JEs: Standard, Adhoc, Accrual, Amortization, Reclassification then maintaining and analyzing books of accounts with SLA conformity. Preparing and submitting the Tax accrual details and AR aging as part of month end closing.
  • Preparing narratives on movements/variance analysis for Trial Balance on monthly basis and simultaneously updated in HFC tool for publishing the package of each assigned reporting unites.
  • Preparing and submitting the balance sheet reconciliations of all the assigned RUs in Blackline, updating the clearing status of each line item for all respective GL’s and accordingly clearing all the balance sheet open items in SAP on monthly basis.
  • Managing various corporate entities in HFC through running the HFIM to capture all the SAP numbers in HFC and clearing the various blocking errors (Tax, Interco, Dummy PC) for successfully publishing the HFC packages on time.
  • Preparing SAP vs HFC reconciliation to have conformity that the numbers are correctly floating in HFC from SAP and investigating further if any variance is reported.
  • Hands on experience on SAP providing end to end accounting and reporting services to the entities.
  • Coordinate and follow up with different teams to take the corrective action in case discrepancy.
  • Prepare and provide response to Auditor’s and Management’s queries.

  • Preparation of various Expense schedules, GL reconciliation, Vendor reconciliation, Monthly TDS reconciliation, Ageing schedules, Forex Exchange gain / (loss) Schedule, Deferred Rent Schedule and various other audit purpose report.
  • Handling Statutory and Internal Audit and ensuring no major deficiency reported.
  • Handling Vendor management and Invoice processing and ensuring all invoices are validated against relevant purchase order or against the respective agreement along with the relevant approvals for invoices. Ensured Compliance with accounting deadlines. Timely payments of more than 100 suppliers on monthly basis.
  • Checking the deduction of TDS (other than salary). Preparation and submission of monthly TDS detail to deposit the same on or before due date & submission of quarterly TDS return.
