Leveraged PostgreSQL for user metadata storage, AWS S3 for user images, DynamoDB for scalable property storage, Elasticsearch for property-based search and filtering, and Kafka for streaming data to the analytics service.
- Served as an on-call engineer for the entire Freshchat product, managing production incidents for a system handling ~2.8B requests per day. Handled end-to-end deployment and release migrations of multiple microservices via Jenkins pipelines, utilizing Python, Groovy, and PSQL scripts for automation and database migrations. Analyzed performance bottlenecks, conducted detailed postmortems, and authored new SOPs, improving operational efficiency and reducing recurrence of critical issues.
