• Lead the production activities in the manufacturing plant.
• Spearheading the planning and execution of daily production schedules to ensure seamless operations and optimal output.
• Hold the plant P&L responsibility, and the overall responsibility for the plant's commercial activities.
• Coordinating with cross-functional teams to achieve departmental targets, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
• Developing and maintaining comprehensive MIS reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs), and drive data-driven decision-making.
• Streamline the manpower deployment, resulting in the optimal utilization.
• Lead cost-reduction initiatives to cut down the process and product costs.
• Implement advanced condition monitoring techniques to preempt equipment failures, and maintain continuous production flow.
• Using scientific, mathematical, and engineering principles to solve problems and improve processes.
• Introduce the adoption of cutting-edge technologies to optimize the production processes and reduce operational costs.
• Oversee the internal and external audits, ensuring adherence to industry regulations and standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Planning, coordinating, operation, maintenance planning, condition monitoring, and manpower control in the production plant.
• Managing the day-to-day operations of the sulfuric acid plant and electrolytic plant, achieving consistent production targets.
• Optimized resource allocation, reducing operational costs, and enhancing production efficiency.
• MIS – Maintaining database and generation of reports pertaining to efficiency, availability, costing, statistics, budget monitoring, etc.
• Departmental Target Monitoring - Planning and coordinating to achieve the plant’s targets set by the organization.
• Coordinating with the maintenance team to schedule preventive maintenance, reducing downtime, and extending equipment lifespan.
• Conducting regular training sessions for staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
