The Area DBD Manager serves as coordinator of the Admissions team and oversees day to day liaison functions for all 3 area rehabilitation hospitals. As a liaison between internal and external referral sources and internal operations, the Area DBD Manager is responsible for establishing relationships with physicians, payers, referral sources, and internal operations team.

• Provide 1:1 support and feedback to admissions team for basic day to day functions
• Daily oversight and close collaboration with Admissions Coordinators and Associates to assist in managing census and coordination of patient transitions from sending facilities.
• Manage Admission Team staffing calendars, PTO requests, arrange coverage and approve time cards.
• Perform business related and clinical audits as realted to completion of pre-admissions screens, insurance precertifications, and insurance appeals process.
• Plan and complete training of newly hired admissions staff.
• Have continuous knowledge of current status of referrals, admissions, and patient flow
• Perform market analysis, market research and development, and implementation of annual and ongoing marketing and business plans.

As a Tier II Clinical Liaison at Lifepoint Health, I was selected as a corporate expert in clinical assessments, training, and mentoring new liaisons. I assisted admission and marketing teams across the country in opening new rehabilitation hospitals, troubleshooting problem areas, and showcasing my skills in leadership and collaboration.

• Lead training sessions for new liaisons to ensure seamless onboarding process.
• Share strategic initiatives regarding patient asessments and admission processes.

• Lead a team of clinical liaisons in assessing patients for acute inpatient rehabilitation admission and establishing strong relationships with referral sources and physicians.
• Directed team in marketing strategies, territory management, insurance authorizations and appeals, and training new team members.
• Achieved a significant increase in patient admissions and revenue for Community Rehabilitation Hospitals North, South, and West.

• Developed and implemented marketing plan to generate referrals from Northside Indianapolis hospitals.
