  • Company Overview: Product base company
  • Our product is available in the 7 countries (US, UK, Canada, Hongkong, AUS, UAE, KSA)
  • Here, My role in the Team, I am mainly allocated in the developing the Automation script using the Selenium(With Java) and Playwright(With Java) for Web, which contains the scenarios of every functionality of the product which impact most of the client.
  • I have a Basic level of Understanding of the Appium (Mobile Automation) as well, When Team needed I am able to help them as well.
  • Monday to Thursday We developed a New Scenarios and perform 1 regression cycle on the developed scripts and perform rebased in the scripts If any functionality is changes or any scripts takes extra time in the execution so we need to optimize for quick results.
  • On Every Friday new version of product is release, So I am the responsible person from the automation side who perform the Automation regression for Web side We are using the Jenkins pipeline to perform this and After the Execution Done verifies the result.
  • According to Jenkins result I am the responsible to verify for the result of the scripts like that failures are comes due to any environment issue or any BUG is present in the latest release or any Rebased task is needed for that failed Script
  • Currently, I am handling 3 resources as well in the automation team

  • Our Platform (OnPrem as well as saas(cloud)) supports more than 400+ apps, So basically we support those apps, Mostly I am working on the certified licensed app in those cases, If any customer faces any issue in any existing functionality or wants any new function/action so we can fix or add that and release that app view newer version
  • In the testing part, I perform the API Testing first Using Postman, Write down the Test-case and Perform Manual testing on the main environment(N version) after that, I create the playbooks (Automate the cases using python) for my test cases and use those playbooks to perform the testing on the other instance (N-1 & N+1) version as well as on the cloud instance
  • On the Pytest side, I wrote Python scripts and I review that Pytest file as well so in case anyone from the team can be written the script I am the only member of the India team who can review and merge that into the main branch, So this is the actual flow and role which I currently perform in the team
  • In short words, Mostly first I perform the API testing and Manual Testing, and afterwards I automate those cases and added those playbooks into the pytest pipelines so that can trigger every week so that if a case failure or any API change occurs so we find out early before customer logs that issue to us
