My Role :
• Heading SMT & PCBA Production & Quality Department & equipped with 6 SMT Lines & 8 PCBA Assly Lines with total of 300 workers working to produce about 250 Models of Various Lighting PCB Assemblies.
• Production Planning with optimal utilization of resources, target deliveries, Identifying & controlling Process rejections and rejection at End customer are my key roles.
• Identifying Production Losses, Production enhancement, Technology upgradations.
• Structuring Quality department to focus, identify and act on root cause analysis to deliver ZERO ppm at Customer end.
• Introduction of Automation to replace manual work (if any), improvisation of existing equipment's to bring out more efficiency.

• Production Losses improved by 15% by getting complete overhauling maintenance and spare parts replacement for necessary machines dues from a long time.

• Proficiently looked after overall quality (IQC, PQC, OQC, and Engineering) aspects for CTV Chassis & DVD products in AI, SMT & MI Department.
• Process Control, Line Rejections in House control & enhance quality improvement programs to achieve Quality Targets.
• Customer complaint/field rejections analysis & taking corrective fool proof actions using 7 QC tools such as Process mapping, 3D/5Why& Pareto analysis etc.
• Determining Major process operations CTP, CTQ, & making control on process by Self-Sequential check, Control Chart monitoring.

• Brought down the customer end rejection from 11000ppm to 4000ppm by improving systems at various stages.

• Achieving daily/monthly production & quality targets as per plan given & to maintain buffer for Assembly line.
• Monitoring & control on machine utilization to achieve target above 75% & taking corrective actions.
• Programming of CNC auto insertion m/c for various models. Diagnosis & troubleshooting of various electromechanical problems.
• Studying & enhancing improvement on Product cycle time as continual improvement
• Established & ensured preventive & break down maintenance as per TPM programme to reduce MTBF.
• Gained exposure to ISO & handed over responsibility for maintaining of record as per ISO requirements.
