average annually between Nadiad, Nasik and Surat

• As a part of a closely held 27 year-old minerals company, I have been instrumental in creating a highly profitable market leader with a portfolio consisting of top multinationals
• Helped identify greenfield markets like Vietnam, developed distribution networks in the Far East, established marketing networks with international market leaders in Europe and New Zealand like AKW and Imerys, streamlined the domestic sales departments, added new local customers with long term contracts like Owens Corning, Asahi and Schott, introduced ISO 9001 and Six Sigma practices and several cost saving and efficiency enhancing measures

• Founded a family owned partnership company to act as an investing cum marketing agent for Reliance Industries Ltd products
• The firm was involved in the marketing of Reliance polyesters, especially partially oriented yarns and textured yarns, LAB (linear alkyl benzene, a raw material for detergents) in South India and also handled the agency business of PTA (raw material for polyester) on behalf of Reliance Industries for Raymond Synthetics and Indian Organics
• Built an extensive network in the textile industry with regular interactions with Board level senior management of customers
• Established credit lines and achieved efficient tax planning in a high tax regime
• The firm is active today, continues to represent Reliance Industries and the partnership interest continues till date.

• Established a small scale manufacturing ancillary unit in rubber extrusions and rubber presses. The company manufactured products like hot water bags on job work basis for merchant exporters

• Have participated extensively in international exhibitions and conferences and have a well established business network in India and overseas
• Have also worked on a significant packaging industry acquisition from inception to definitive agreements.

• Worked as an apprentice during the above period with leading companies in Europe like Sulzer Brothers AG, Winterthur, Switzerland, Rexroth Hydraulics Gmbh, Lohr A Mian - Germany (a subsidiary of Mannesmann) and Benninger AG, Uzwill Switzerland
• Have worked in various areas like finance, marketing, audit, production and floor shop disciplines like welding, drilling, filling, turning and tool making for lathe applications.
