1) Sustenance Engineering for Outdoor power equipment (Lawn Tractor, Tractor attachments, Snow throwers, Pressure washers):

-Input Study and Estimation & Co-ordination with client

-Support from creating concepts for part, component & systems for improvements, detail design till released in the team center, as and when required & production support from offshore

-FAD (Final assembly drawing) creation for parts and products

- Various types of drawings incorporating all manufacturing details such as welding details, Machining, BOM, GD&T as per ASME Y14.5.

- Written ECN for design support, production support and SAP/BOM changes

- Participation in preparation of TDRs (Technical Design Review Presentations) & PSRs (Project status reports)

2) Cost reduction by VA/VE for Snow Thrower and Lawn Tractor:

-Carried out one to one system study and benchmark the processes for improve the productivity by standardizing manufacturing and assembly processes

-Responsible for Benchmarking of product with competitors & implying various VAVE techniques for idea generation for cost reduction.

-To prepare Hand sketches and validate them in CAD Support idea generation through Brain storming sessions with core & other domain teams

-Achieved cost reduction of 14% Vs stiff target of 10%

3) New Product Development of Inventor P2400

-VOC, Market research, Ideation, Finalizing features, Benchmarking, Concept generation in CAD, Concept Evaluation
-Concept generation of mounting point for better load distribution and better fitting of all body components;
-Concept generation of ribs and bosses to improve strength
-Preparation of reports for each concept with their Pro(s) & Con(s), along with decision matrix.
-Interference check & Manufacturing feasibility study. Part modification for tool correction.
-Preparing 3D models & Manufacturing Drawings

-Responsible for Testing of finished product for defects such as Dent, Scratch, Metal chips, wax spillage, over spray, black dust, touch up & Shower leakage paint-shop line in TCF dept

-Prepared Defect tracking report, analysis, review & Counter measures, PDI and rework

-Internal and External customer complain resolution

-Manpower Planning, Distribution and tracking of work within team of 7
