• The EAGLE Provisioning Application Processor (EPAP) provides a shorter lookup route for certain TCAP queries in a mobile network
• The EPAP contains not just the GTT tables but also a Real Time Database (RTDB) containing the information that formerly resided on the SCP or HLR
• The EAGLE performs the database lookup and returns the response with the needed information in it without having to inquire the SCP
• The information (MNP) came from the Customer Provisioning Interface goes to the EPAP and later to the RTDB in the EAGLE DSM Cards.
