Income Attribution:
· Part of Income attribution team pilot batch and initiated the implementation of an income/revenue-based transfer pricing approach for certain front office services to improve legal entity, management reporting, tax and regulatory reporting.
· Perform monthly income attribution allocation computations using MS access based tactical tools for 22 Line of Business’s using general ledger and supplemental financial information as source and upload the entries in existing billing systems (Apptio)
· Perform consolidated income attribution entries with both the provider and receiver view for all the legal entities and perform month on month variance analysis at various business lines and legal entity level.
· Periodically set up calls with the group controllers and give updates related to monthly computation and provide all the information related to the income attribution transactions to CFO'S controllers or individuals in business finance for the audit purposes.
Transfer Pricing REG-W Certification:
· Perform monthly intercompany accounting and reporting (REG W certification - 23A and 23B) across different regions EMEA, APAC, Canada and LATAM (48 Legal entities) identifying all the TP transactions and flag them as compliant or non- compliant transactions based on the availability of the service level agreements/ TP agreements.
· Developed automated certification process using Power Bi by creating multiple dashboards presented to Global tax.
· Understanding the nature of the Non-compliance transactions and challenges raised by the LE controllers and provide all the information to service governance office helping to build transfer pricing agreements.
· Periodically set up calls with the Legal entity controllers and review all the existing TP agreements based on different parameters like TP methodology, mark up percentages, products and lines of business included in the agreements and recommend any changes if required.
· Postings of manual transfer pricing entries for China (Non-Cas) entities on monthly basis in eagle entry system and postings of quarterly true up for Component provider (CP)-Service provider (SP) transactions
· Understanding of transfer pricing policies and Development of the framework for calculating the monthly transfer pricing accruals (cost and net banking income) using MS access, excel based tactical tools.
· Presenting of TP cost Vs NBI analysis (MOM & YOY variance analysis) for all LOB's with commentaries to the Entity/Group Partners/CFO's on monthly basis.
· Recharge of central and regional head office cost based on TP methodologies to different legal entities and communicating the accruals and booking the entries in corresponding system.
· Inter entity reconciliation based on accounting and management reporting data and analysing the breaks and perform balance sheet certification for TP related accounts and justify the balances.
· Assisting the regional CFO's and legal entity CFO's with any kind of queries related to TP transactions and also provide the data for internal and external audits
· Assessing the risk related to the process and formalizing controls related to corresponding risks.
