Godrej Industries Ltd
- In the fifteen days of internship, I came across plants such as fractional distillation of oils, hydrogenation plant, sulphonation and also Quality Control and Quality Analysis.
- All the reactants went through the processing and afterwards the final products were sent to the QA and QC labs for further testing and only the desired product was sent for packaging.
- Also went to the Raw Material Store where all the initial products for the process were stored and maintained into different chambers.
- Learned about the process and time management of all the plants.

- Responsible for cost estimation of various engineering products like Pressure Vessels, Columns, Heat Exchangers, Storage Tanks, Reactors, Skids, Silo,etc.
- Coordinate with clients for technical clearance and better understanding of the project thereby enabling timely submissions of the offers.
- Float enquiries to vendors for bought out items such as plates, pipes, flanges, gaskets, fasteners, vessel and column internals, etc as well as expedite with them for best price available.
- Review estimates to ensure accuracy, completeness and compliance with defined scope of work, engineer and coordinate with teammates on company estimating methods and preparation directions.
- Release work orders, coordinate with various departments for the proper execution and timely despatch of the equipment.
- Prepare BOM for the equipment and coordination with AutoCAD draughtsmen for releasing GA drawing for client approval.
- Experience in handling successful projects for clients like SS Columns to Aarti industries Limited, SS API Storage Tanks to Tagros Chemicals India Private Limited, SS Filter Vessels (ASME U- Stamp Job) to Hitachi Zosen Inova, CS Horizontal Storage Tanks (ASME U-Stamp Job) to Shinryo Suvidha Engineers India Private Limited,etc.
- Also have experience in estimation and documentation of tenders for clients such as IOCL, HPCL, ONGC, CPCL, EIL, IFFCO, BARC, NTPC,etc.
- Preparing PTR documents for EIL enlistment of Pressure Vessels and Heat Exchangers.
