• Environment: Oracle 11g, 12c, 19c, Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7/8, Unix.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Creation of tablespaces, data files, users, etc., for the project requirement.
• Controlling the user's operations by limiting the memory spaces and granting the necessary roles, privileges, and profiles to the users.
• Monitoring the growth of the database, tablespace, and disk level.
• Finding and rectifying fragmentation for tables and indexes.
• Check the Alert Log for errors, and take the necessary steps to rectify them.
• Schemas refresh using Exp/Imp, and data pump utility.
• Restore and recover the database using RMAN when required.
• Taking incremental level 0, level 1 backup using RMAN.
• Monitoring the unwanted user session and terminating it if needed.
• Analyzing the SQL query using the explain plan.
• Monitoring the performance of the database using AWR.
• Implementation of Data Guard and resolving related issues.
• Checking the MRP process to apply the redo data into the standby database.
• Perform the switchover operation in the Data Guard environment.
• Experience in RAC, ASM, and Exadata.
• Successfully applied Patch Set Updates (PSUs) to Oracle RAC and standalone databases, ensuring optimal performance and security compliance.
• Working experience in performance tuning.

Golden Gate:

• Monitored Goldengate processes for performance and availability, optimizing configurations to reduce lag and ensure data consistency.
• Conducted troubleshooting and resolution of data replication issues, ensuring seamless operation and data integrity.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Provided monthly and quarterly reports on the implementation of initiatives for accountability and performance monitoring.
• Strived to meet SLAs and KPIs, working with internal and external support functions in the event of major incidents.
