System Testing of Porsche PPE41C BMC project – Battery Management System

• Perform analysis of test requirements from Porsche for the Battery Management Controller.
• Test case automation and definition in imbus TestBench tool.
• Prepare the VT HIL setup for the testing.
• Flash the software with debugger and perform FST - Smoke test for each SW release from the development team
• Perform the complete system test through manual and automated test packages created in imbus TestBench.
• Generate report and analyze the failures from the automated run. Rerun or perform manual testing for the failed test cases.
• Work in coordination with the development team to identify the root cause for test failures.

Manual Testing of VW Touareg Infotainment System on vehicle and test rack – Telephone Module.

• Analyzing test specification from OEM for the MIB3+ project for telephone function.
• Writing test cases for manual testing based on specification.
• Perform quick acceptance test for each software update in vehicle and in the test rack and vehicle.
• Responsible for performing feature tracking test and focus test on test rack and vehicle.
• Create tickets in KPM with eso, HMI and gateway traces for issues observed in testing.
• Work with the function owner to analyze functional requirements and to clarify the test results.

System Testing of Monitoring and Functional Safety topics for powertrain ECU.

• HIL testing of powertrain ECU using ECU-TEST tool for monitoring and safety concepts based on ISO26262 for VW and AUDI projects.
• Analyze test specification from VW, create automated test packages in ECU-TEST, setup the HIL lab connections for test, run the tests, analyze failures, generate report with comments for failures and deliver report to OEM.
• Functional safety testing for torque monitoring, ADAS features, external torque interventions and power train activation for gasoline and diesel systems.
• Team Coordinator role for a team of five with tasks including planning, delegation, status reporting and delivery to stakeholders.
• Responsible for commissioning and maintaining closed loop test benches.

RSA and Nissan – Engine Control Unit (ECU) and Dosing Control Unit(DCU) Series Release Activities.

• Container generation, alpha acceptance testing, End Of Line programming and testing, hex dump analysis, delivery to OEM and Bosch plants, ECRand BOM support, customer planning and coordination, proto container creation, plan chart preparation, tool chain validation and PEC-C support
• Integration - SDOM based SW integration.
• Field claim analysis for after sales issues - Renault and Nissan.
• Automation

Deputation to Robert Bosch France for 3 months to engage in the following activities.

• Production Engineering and Customer Coordination (PEC-C) activities like PIE test at OEM plant, Tool chain configuration for new ECU Types, testing of TPROT levels and project team coordination for container file layout preparation.
• Gain knowledge to setup the new multicore ECU projects in India and transfer the knowhow to Indian team.
