EXECUTIVE-AERO ENGINES (Cost Estimation)

  • Pre-Bid Engineering with cost estimation, Project management and technical proposal development.
  • Studying of RFQ documents, Scope of work and specifications to understand
    the RFQ requirements (in terms of materials, manufacturing processes, special
    processes and other requirements) and customer need.
  • Estimated and Provided proposal to major customers such as GE, RR, HAL,
    Pratt Whitney, Safran on Aero Engine and Structural components.
  • Understand GD&T requirements of each part, plan the process along with
    cutting tool selection and strategies
  • Carry out capability assessment for vendors for machining, sheet metal parts
    fabrication and also special processes.
  • Involved in TOP (Total operational performance) to reduce the cutting tool
    cost.
  • On the basis of SCM quotes, prepare estimation work out with raw material/STD
    parts cost, machine setup time, mfg. cycle time, mfg. cost, hours /shipset,
    special process cost to arrive RC/SS. Also calculate NRC engineering and
    tooling cost against each part.
  • Co ordinate with a team of 18 members
  • Internally handling, training and managing a team of 3 members and guiding them towards the common goal
  • Analysis and evaluate the feed back provided
  • Estimated and Provided proposal to major customers such as GE, RR, HAL,
    Pratt Whitney, Safran on Aero Engine and Structural components.
  • Major achievement : Contributed to winning GE CLTA , Safran LPT shaft RFQs.
