Understand test requirements and derive test scenarios.
Documenting test cases and modifying, if necessary.
Selecting test cases for automation.
Inspect elements/objects.
Creating test cases using element locators and Selenium WebDriver commands.
Enhancing and optimizing test cases using OOP's features.
Grouping, prioritizing test cases, executing test batches, and generating reports using TestNG/JUnit and Extent Report, with data-driven testing, cross-browser testing, and database testing.
Analyzing application logs, test reports.
Reporting and tracking of defects.
Select test cases for regression.
Perform regression on modified builds, and final regression.
Good experience with OOP concepts in Java.
Worked on Selenium WebDriver for automating test cases in various functional modules.
Excellent knowledge of different locator strategies.
Extensive experience in creating POM and test classes for the framework.
Extensively used TestNG as a unit test framework for the development of test classes.
Experience with Assertions and Annotations in the TestNG framework.
Experience in grouping, prioritizing test cases, and executing in parallel.
Writing test cases as per requirements, and then automating.
Extensively used Log4j for logging, and Extent Report for HTML reporting.
Doing peer review and QA for scripts developed by teammates, as per the standards followed in the project.
• Have a good understanding of the Hybrid Framework.
Also, have a good understanding of Git for repository management, and Jenkins for continuous integration.
