ADULT CASES

I have been exposed to nearly 7600cases. They include, Right Heart and Left Heart catheterization studies, coronary angiograms, coronary angioplasties, Peripheral angiograms & angioplasties, carotid angioplasties, renal angioplasties, Primary coronary angioplasties, Rotablation, Fractional flow reserve (FFR), Intravascular Ultrasound (IVUS) Directional coronary atherectomy, Optical coherence tomography (OCT) Balloon Mitral Valvotomy, Balloon Aortic Valvuloplasty, Post MI Ventricular Septal Rupture device closure, Alcohol Septal Ablation of HOCM, stent graft implantation Of SVG and aortic aneurysm, pericardiocentesis, Permanent pacemaker Implantation (PPI), Implantable cardioverter defibrillators (ICD), Cardiac resynchronization therapy (CRT) Abdominal aortic aneurysm with Endovascular stent graft (AAA) Pulmonary AV fistula and coronary AV fistula coil closures etc.

PEDIATRIC AND NEONATAL CASES

I have been exposed to nearly 1120 cases. They include, both acyanotic and cyanotic congenital heart disease catheterizations and post surgical cardiac catheterizations, BAV, BPV, Bioptome assisted PDA coil closure, BAS, AV fistula coil closure, ASD and VSD device closure, etc.

Assist in various cath lab and CCU emergencies like cardiac arrests, ventricular defibrillations etc. Recognize cardiac arrhythmias to enable prompt and adequate management. Have performed the role of a scrub nurse in emergencies. Perform Quantitative Coronary Analysis (QCA) Handle ABG equipment, reflectance oximetry O2 consumption To implement various protocols in the cath lab. As a proctor for newly recruited cathlab technicians to teach them the various protocols and methodology Independent handling of IABP machines such as Arrow and Data scope. Handle most of the trouble shooting problems with the IABP Assist in intubations and CPR. Perform TMT & HUTT Test Follow-up and interrogation of arrhythmia devices (Pacemaker, AICD, CRT) Maintenance and indenting of the entire cath lab Material stock including various catheters, guide wires, balloons, stents, etc. Supervising and analyzing cathlab day to day activities and giving feedback to head authorities. Used to perform adult echocardiography and TEE. Routinely doing 24-hour Holter Monitoring Analysis and TMT.
