As the backbone of all equipment-related processes, EME plays a critical role by supplying reliable data that is consumed by numerous applications across the organization for tracking, calculations, and operational decision-making.
• Equipment Stock and Empty Repositioning, The system provides a comprehensive and detailed view of equipment across various logistics and container statuses, ensuring accurate calculation of logistic gate movements. This enables precise identification of surplus and shortage locations in terms of equipment availability. By integrating vessel routing and empty container space allocation, the platform empowers logistics teams to proactively plan and execute the repositioning of empty equipment. This ensures that equipment is readily available at strategic locations to meet customer export demands—on time and in a cost-effective manner.
