Project Description:
Design and Development experience on plastic Exterior Parts.
Design and development of Exterior Product such as EA, APRON, PQ COVER, FRONT FENDER
PROTECTOR, BAFFLE FRONT FENDER LH/RH, COVER FRONT UNDER , COVER FRONT REAR, that it can be Assemble and Disassemble in Vehicle condition.
Role and Responsibility:
• Very Good knowledge of the Siemens UGNX in areas of Part modeling, surface modeling, Assembly and Drawing.
• Knowledge of Plastic product design, Material selection and Application, Manufacturing process.
• Closely working CFT team to improve the design and development.
• Preparing CAD data for RFQ by Using Technical data sheet.
• Design parts considering all aspects of plastics so that defects like sink mark etc.
• Support the supplier for tooling in critical areas.
• To support CAE and Mold Flow for testing requirement.
• Very good knowledge of DFM / Feasibility process.
• Analyzing the part for tooling and manufacturing feasibility.
• Modification of CAD data as per the Internal Customer Feedback.
• Creating BOM for Assembly data.
• Supporting to Global PDE to create and develop CAD data From RFQ to SOP level.

Project Description:
Design and development of fork carrier, fork, fork knob, Air vent horizontal & vertical vain,
Thumbwheel, center outer bezel, center inner bezel such that it can be Assemble and Disassemble in
Vehicle condition.Role and Responsibility:
• Work on the parts over fork carrier, fork, fork knob, H & V vanes, Vanes Bearing, Housing,
etc.
• Creating B-surface from A-surface, close volumes, creation of locators, snaps and dog houses
for Plastic components
• Taking the styling surface as an input, A-surface is created by omitting all tangential
errors and gave the tooling direction.
• Created the parting surface, parting line and developed closed surface.
• Created engineering features wherever required for strengthening & installation of plastic to
environment data.
• Design parts considering all aspects of plastics so that defects like sink mark etc
• Checking style with environment for the GAP and Flushness condition, also proposing the
solution to maintain desired Gap and Flushness.

SPEKER GRILL, SUN BLIND FINISHER, SUN BLIND CARRIER, ASSTRAY, with other part as Carryover. Challenging part of this project
is to design assembly of center Lid such that it can be Assemble and Disassemble in Vehicle condition.
Role and Responsibility:
• Creating B-surface from A-surface, close volumes, creation of locators, snaps and dog houses for Plastic components
• Taking the styling surface as an input, A-surface is created by omitting all tangential errors and gave the tooling
direction.
• Created the parting surface, parting line and developed closed surface.
• Created engineering features wherever required for strengthening & installation of plastic to environment data.
• Work on the parts overhead console, arm rest, Door panel etc.
• Making Concept section, Master sections, proposing the Style changes.
• Checking style with environment for the GAP and Flushness condition. Also proposing the solution to maintain
desired Gap and Flushness.
• Design parts considering all aspects of plastics so that defects like sink mark etc. should not occur. (Especially for
colored armrest.)
• Support the supplier for tooling in critical areas.
• Maintain the Project Data in well-organized structure.
• Checking all parts before delivering it to customer as per check list for clash & draft analysis, tooling feasibility,
assembly feasibility and process feasibility

• 3D modeling for Injection Mold & for product modeling
• Making Core Cavity separation.
• Making B Surface for Auto Component as per product dwg. Such as Head light case, Center RR Rear.
• Issue & checking all the detail dwg. Of Mold base to tool-Room
• Selection &order of hot runner system
• Selection & order of hydraulic cylinder used for mechanism
• Validation of article as per design data for after trial.
• Making modification as per customer requirement.
• Electrode Modeling for EDM Shop.
• Cad healing for data of Automobile part, such as
Fender, Case air, front cowl& side cover etc.
• Design of checking fixture& cooling fixture for Auto Component.
• Product Development as per requirement of customer
• 3D Assembly modeling from Product Development to Design of
Injection mold for that.
• Assembling the total mould and selection of press for trials according to tonnage.
•. Selection of material and preparing BOM using library and catalogues.
• Co-ordination with shop floor personnel, project engineers and the CAM department for mold manufacture
• Interaction with Assembly dept, attending the trials.
