  • I investigate and debunk misinformation in India with Newschecker, an IFCN-accredited fact-checking platform whose clients include Meta (formerly Facebook) and TikTok. Using AI tools and investigative methods, I expose political and digital disinformation, focusing on
    viral, high-impact content related to health, policy and elections to promote media literacy and accountability.
  • I use innovative strategies and AI to combat disinformation effectively. I also focus on fighting misinformation on social media and prioritize the investigation of content that may harm individuals, communities, or democracy.

  • Over the course of my career with the BBC, I have produced engaging, high-impact content across digital, social, and television platforms, consistently maintaining the BBC's high editorial standards. With more than 500 by-lined stories, my journalism spans a wide range of subjects including politics, business, policy, health, education, environment, elections, and global events. I have worked in multiple roles at the BBC, including senior multimedia journalist, social media journalist.
  • I have led editorial and production teams, delivering top-quality output as I/C Desk Editor for digital and Output Editor for TV. My work has been published in more than
    8 BBC language services, including English, Hindi, Urdu, Tamil, Punjabi, Marathi, Telugu, Gujarati, and Indonesian.
    I was a founding member of the core team that successfully launched BBC Gujarati, one of the BBC's key language services in India. We built the brand from the ground up. Its website attracts over 3.5 million unique visitors weekly, and has built a strong digital community with 1+ million followers across social media platforms.
