I have been working in the Utility Domain at TCS since August 2023, focusing on back billing processes for Prepay, Credit, and Smart meters. My role involves analyzing customer consumption data, identifying billing discrepancies, and ensuring accurate bill generation and delivery. I leverage IT skills, including SAP and Advanced Excel, to manage meter data, validate usage patterns, and support end-to-end billing operations. This experience has strengthened my ability to combine technical expertise with business processes to ensure accurate and efficient utility billing services.

Key Responsibilities :

Analyzed energy consumption data from gas and electricity meters to identify billing discrepancies, support accurate back billing, and ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
Reviewed meter reads, usage trends, and historical billing data to calculate correct charges for unbilled or underbilled periods, collaborating with IT and billing teams to resolve data anomalies.
Assisted in generating and delivering corrected bills, providing clear documentation and support to customer service teams, while building strong expertise in utility billing systems and consumption analytics.
Proficient in Advanced Excel, including the use of formulas, shortcuts, and functions like VLOOKUP, to efficiently analyze data, identify discrepancies, and support accurate billing processes.
Conduct daily client calls to discuss account updates, resolve issues, and ensure alignment on billing and data accuracy.
Worked on SAP MM (Materials Management) module, handling end-to-end procurement and inventory management tasks including creation of Purchase Requisitions (PR) and Purchase Orders (PO) using ME51N and ME21N, maintaining Material and Vendor Master Data, monitoring Goods Receipt (GR), performing Invoice Verification (MIRO), and collaborating with IT to troubleshoot issues and enhance procurement workflow efficiency.
Utilized IT techniques and tools to streamline SAP MM processes, troubleshoot system issues in collaboration with the IT support team, and optimize procurement workflows through effective data management, system configuration, and process automation.
