Description: Created new application to capture and maintain Trade recommendations which is an integral part of Research Papers. Tool was created to provide a web interface for creating and managing trade recommendations, data collection from multiple platforms, complex history maintenance process, derive recommendations, workflow updates and integration with Research publishing ecosystem.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for requirements analysis, technical design, implementation, testing and documentation.
• Involved extensively in discussion with project owners and end users for requirement gathering.
• Involved in creating UI using React JS and Material UI
• Involved in implementation of Rest API’s and Centralized Microservices configurations using spring cloud config, Service discovery, mTLS, Micro services development and automated jobs integration using Autosys.
• Code coverage with unit and integration testing using Junit.
• Involved in Code review and improve code quality using sonar tool.
• Ensuring on time delivery of reports as per defined timelines

Description: This project was an initiative to enhance the experience of multimedia research notes. Created and added new interface in Authoring tool to support Audio Video content in research papers. Integrating new media player JW Player for supporting media playback on web and mobile application with Read tome features. Smart Playlist for clients and data analytics to track and monitor media usage across different platforms.

Responsibilities:

• The work spanned across different projects which involved a challenge to learn the architecture, workflow, technologies used across multiple projects.
• To develop new features on web client and mobile application.
• Develop, test and integrate features across different projects to support new content in the research publishing workflow.
• Integration of an external media player (JW Player) on web and mobile platforms and optimizing it for different viewports.
• Involved in requirement gathering, discussions with stake holders and extensive collaboration with the concerned projects.
• Involved in project go-live and production setup.

Description: Its a content authoring platform that gives Reseach Analyst, Control Group and Editors a workspace to create, manage and publish firm's Research to the outside world. it gives easy access to sources and materials, integrate multiple systems for pulling complex report components, media integration and supports reports publishing workflow. customized preview for different viewports.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop and test new modules.
• Collaborate with other teams on parallel development of features across different platform.
• Enhancements, code improvement and defect fix of existing modules.
• Production support and release.

Project: Loanet Cost Reduction (SLAB Platform, CTB project) | Team Size: 9

Role: Senior Developer

Description: BNP NA Change the Bank (CTB) initiative to optimize and reduce cost of the Stock Lending and Borrowing BackOffice (BO) by decommission BO services from Loanet a market leader and creating a new in-house project. This has enriched Falcon ability to maintain and manage SLAB activities and expand its interface with DTCC, ADP/BPS & EquiLend. it includes services like Contract Management, Books and Records services, Reports, Settlements, all trading activities Cash/Non-Cash intraday and post trade services like Contract Comparison, MTM, Fee/Rebate Billings and Contract consolidation.

Responsibilities:

• Worked closely with BAs & Users from New York during the Analysis phase, Estimation, Development and Testing.
• Used TDD approach to develop code, peer reviewing and giving inputs periodically for process improvement.
• Successfully Conceptualized, Designed and Delivered critical core modules from scratch Data Load Engine & Reporting Engine with generic & configurable design to transfer data btw different databases & to generate critical reports with customization as per Users respectively.
• Developed two new modules for interacting with EquiLend vendor system for Contract Comparison, Billing Comparison & Mark-to-Market services via MQ and Flat File as part of NGT.
• Designed and developed new BO modules Inter-Company Contract Comparison & Contract Consolidation.
• Appreciated for understanding the business quickly, providing key inputs during analysis and design of new BO modules, proactive approach and prompt deliveries.
• Played a key role & owned a significant part of project involving collating requirements, designing solution for new Backoffice modules, coordinating with the other teams, delivered most of the modules and releasing for business.
• Promoted to SSE and awarded with The Pinnacle Award for outstanding contribution in the project.

Project: Falcon (SLAB Platform) | Team Size: 20

Description: Falcon is a BNP Paribas Stock Lending and Borrowing Platform under Prime Brokerage for US and International markets. its a custom build app to support all SLAB activities and functions for entire Firm including Prime Brokerage, Equity trading, Operations and Finance. Provides the Security Lending (SL) desk and several other related downstream business groups with necessary reporting and automation.

Responsibilities:

• Requirement Analysis, Design and Development of new services and enhancements.
• Worked on Production/QA/DEV environment management and gave valuable suggestions to automate sanity & health checks and to improve batch dependency mode.

Project: S.M.A.R.T (Strategic management assessment & reporting tool) | Team Size: 4

Role: Developer (Lead)

Description: SMART is an internal business intelligence tool used for Resource Management, HR, Finance, Project controlling, Forecast and Variance Analysis, Managing Organizational Data. The tool is capable of collecting, processing and reporting data in large volume from core modules like Resource, Projects, Staffing, Pursuits, Forecast, Budget, Seating, Timedump, Freshers, Contribution Margin which help the management in better operation, planning & execution increasing productivity and efficiency in daily work. It comes with an informative dashboard with critical reports in graphical format to study the growth of the organization in different verticals. Tool became central hub for all these modules & generating complex reports and statistics (graphical and tabular) which slowly eradicated data management using excel sheets The tool was an initiative taken by my business unit which after its success and appreciation by the higher management was deployed to all the business units across India.

Responsibilities:

• Involved in requirement gathering from users and business leads and whole project understanding.
• Extensively involved in Design, Development and Testing of new functionalities in the application.
• UI design and development of modules Project & Pursuit Forecast, Budget, Project Dashboard, TimeDump, EOD data Upload, Resource Allocation and many complex cross tab reports.
