Water:

  • Actively participated in the initiative towards water conservation and generating livelihood, 200+ Bora Bandh constructed in the district with locally available resources, community participation and the principle of Reuse, Reduce and Recycle
  • Initiative received National Water Award under Jal Jivan Mission (JJM) and 65th Skoch Award
  • Initiated the process of mapping the availability of drinking water sources across 749 villages in the district with the aim to provide each household with proper drinking water

Education:

  • Initiated the programme - “Sapno ko Udaan” where 30 selected science students from the 5 Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya’s (KGBV) in the district undergo proper 2 years’ rigorous coaching for Engineering/Medical entrance examination with the aim to join the top colleges across India
  • Extended the programme to - “Sapno ko Udaan 2.0” where the current batch of standard 12th arts students will be pooled into ITI/ANM trainings with 100% assured placements
  • Also, research on arts institutes like JNU, BHU, etc across India is under process for the upcoming arts batches of KGBVs
  • Counselled and linked 60 rescued girls to PAN-IIT’s training institute for ITI/Nursing training with 100% assured placements; Regular counseling of students from humble backgrounds to align them with various on-going educational programmes in the district

Health:

  • Proposed the following against the 3 cr award money received by the district from NITI Aayog for securing 5th position in its delta ranking:

- 2 Mobile Health Units for far-reaching villages of the district which do not have proper health facilities in their vicinity

- Regular ambulance facility at block level for immediate to-and-fro movement of patients

- Procurement of equipments such as radiograph, x-ray machine, endograph, etc

- For taking the health facility at the district up a notch; Introduction of Telemedicine at ANM level

- Worked extensively for COVID relief by setting up check-up camps, procuring and distributing of relief kit to every HH.

Miscellaneous:

  • Regular documentation, data reporting and analysis of Key Performance Indicators of NITI Aayog and subsequently the district
  • Organized educational events and counseling sessions for students on a regular basis
  • Written the bye-laws for Khunti Health Club
