  • Contributed in hiring of a new team from scratch by taking over 80+ interviews including tech assessments. Ramped up a team of 9+ engineers new to the company. Provided technical guidance, mentorship and KTs to the engineers.
  • Security Certified 6+ Applications for launch. Audited system design, code artifacts and raised risks to prevent vulnerabilities in the system.
  • Led a team of 3 engineers to migrate a customer facing Web Application from legacy infrastructure to Native AWS to complete an Amazon Wide Goal. The service had integration with 22 downstream services, its own BI pipeline and several clients such as Mobile, Emails and the end customer. Migration was completed without any impact on the clients and there was 0 downtime.
  • Delivered High and Low level design for multiple features to increase the conversion rate of customers from sign up to actual payment. Guided 2 entry level engineers to complete the implementation by auditing their code artifacts and unblocking them wherever needed. The deliver of the features increased the conversion rate by over 15% which was appreciated by the stakeholders.
  • Participated in Operational Review team meetings with 30+ engineers and provided inputs on the best practices to avoid negative customer impact. Reviewed the prod dashboards and gave guidance to deep dive on the anomalies.

  • Alexa Hindi launch was blocked due to the absence of a smooth voice transition experience from English to Hindi. Conducted full lifecycle software development from planning to implementation, deployment, testing, launch and maintenance under 1.5 months for the critical customer facing Voice Experience. Unblocked the launch without impact to timelines.
  • Launched an end to end 1P Voice Experience Framework allowing users to learn English via various 3P partners. Delivered the HLD and LLD for the solution and owned critical part of the implementation (engaging with multiple away team, implementing multi-turn CX). Onboarded two big partners to the platform - Pearson and Macmillan. Received and handled over 100K+ production utterances.
  • Improved the Operational Readiness of the team by creating required runbooks for our services, continuously updating them, finding and fixing operational gaps by reviewing the applications with Bar raisers.
  • Improved the Privacy Readiness of the team by working with Privacy bar raisers in the org to onboard our services to Data Access and Deletion Request platforms.
