Filled out Cold Rate of Rise and Warm Rate of Rise reports, vacuum logs (micron readings) and leak report log to document work completed.
Troubleshot malfunctions and diagnosed issues to equipment and/or parts quickly and complete.
Removed wiring, piping and tubing to complete the vacuum investigation in its entirety to give an estimate to the customer of the fix that is required.
Installed new components or replaced defective parts to meet the customers requirements.
Inspect for vacuum leaks once the general location of the leak was determined using a blanket (tarp). Then use process of elimination to narrow down the location of the vacuum leak.
Inspect cryogenic transport trailers to DOT standards and wrote the reports and sticker them if acceptable.
Perform Level II Liquid Penetrant tests and filled out the reports.
Inspect inner vessel condition and complete a report of what is broken, cracked or out of tolerance.
wrote R1 Data Forms for submission to the NBIC. Responsible for customer and ASME / NBIC code audits. Check drawings, calculations and verify customer and code compliances; maintain weld qualification records and WPS qualifications; responsible for QC Manual compliance.
